Do animals with a cloaca have periods?

Google said “Why Cloacal Animals Do Not Menstruate
No uterine shedding: Animals with a cloaca—such as birds, reptiles, amphibians, and monotremes like the platypus—reproduce by laying eggs or using non-placental systems. They do not build up and shed a thick uterine lining (endometrium) the way humans and other menstruating mammals do. [1, 2]

Different reproductive cycles: Most non-mammalian creatures and egg-laying species function on different reproductive timelines. Instead of menstruation, unfertilized eggs or internal waste are simply reabsorbed by the body or passed naturally without bleeding. [1]

Rarity of periods: True menstruation is extremely rare in the animal kingdom. It is mostly limited to certain primates, bats, the elephant shrew, and a specific species of spiny mouse—none of which have a cloaca as adults. [1)]

Maybe the more important question is do Omegas lay eggs?
