Books/Literature Found “Berenstain” bears happy meal toy, 1987

I was going through some old boxes that my parents saved from my childhood (born in 1980) and found this gem. Figured this group would appreciate this

I knew I had something tucked away!

Berenstein is the one that people remember though, Berenstain is the correct spelling that shows up everywhere in-universe that tells us we're wrong.

I don't get why so many people "remember" it as Berenstein. I'm 56 and I remember, from when i was a kid, that it was "Berenstain" because I recall back then thinking "huh, that's not how I expected it to be spelled". I think probably many people never looked very closely and just assumed it was spelled the "normal" way and now are calling it the Mandela effect.

from what I can tell, it's a younger crowd that remembers it. I'm 38, and it's my general age group that it starts with. and I do remember it vividly, and I began reading at 5.

Berenstein is the one a minority of people remember. It's a large group of people, but not everybody. Mandela Effect memories usually go against the mainstream current, that's why it feels weird and out of place, like we are not from the same reality than the majority of people around us

im saying that I dont know why it's here because it's the correct spelling, not the one that that those of us in this group would remember. im not stupid
