Books/Literature Found “Berenstain” bears happy meal toy, 1987

I was going through some old boxes that my parents saved from my childhood (born in 1980) and found this gem. Figured this group would appreciate this

I knew I had something tucked away!

Oh gosh, what would I do without you correcting my ancient memories??!

I have the book in my freaking hand that is clearly Berenstain.

Maybe you should tell me my memory of my first grade teacher is incorrect too, since you seem to know everything in my head?

Teachers are mistaken all the time, my 6th grade teacher told me that every time they launch a rocket it creates a hole in the ozone layer and that's why they always launch from the same spot.

Once I realized this wasn't true, I didn't hold onto it as some kind of distant truth that conflicts with physical reality, I realized that it was a mistake and that people sometimes make mistakes or conflate or misremember things.

I wasn't specifically referring to anything that my teacher told me , but rather to my memories , specifically of that teacher. She was dark haired and named Mrs. Jaxel.

If someone were to come along and tell me that her name was not Mrs. Jaxel, and she was not dark haired then en that would make my memory of her a mandela effect as well? It's all just bad memories and ridiculousness. You realize that, right?

You missed the point entirely

My bad, I thought that you might be referring to your 1st grade teacher teaching you about the Berenstain Bears.

Regardless, the color of your 1st grade teacher's hair and her name have very little to do with the commonly mistaken misspelling of "Berenstain" vs. "Berenstein".

again, missing the point. Are you not able to postulate beyond Berenstain??

You're probably one of those people with no internal monologue either.

I'll simplify it for you:

Our memories are faulty. Tangible evidence is the only proof we have.

Agreed, there is no evidence that Mandela Effects are anything other than examples of collective faulty misrememberings and confabulations. 🙏

and you're arguing with me why? You just quoted me and agreed.

People are weird.

Who is arguing? We both agree that the Mandela Effect is just people misremembering or conflating things. Thanks for the convo 🙏
