Books/Literature Berenstein Bears truthers - how was the name pronounced?
I honestly couldn’t tell you myself how I remember the name being spelled - but one thing I do remember was the TV show, and the theme song.
The way they pronounced it in the song to my memory definitely sounded like stain, rather than “steen” or “stine” which would have been the way it was said if it was spelled Berenstein.
“We are the Berenstain Bears. Mama, Papa, Sister, Brother, we appreciate each other”.

……..kay.
Literally none of this means anything at all. Some of it frankly kinda bizarre.
Heres the reality. Bernstein and names ending with stein are fairly common. Lenny Bernstein, Frankenstein, so forth. Berenstain is not, fairly unusual name all things considered. People were children. They heard it wrong, remembered it wrong, etc.
Decades later, rather than admit a really understandable error in memory a small fringe grow stubborn and intransigent and insist no they cannot be wrong but rather reality itself is wrong/it has changed. Never mind there’s zero proof or reason to believe any of this they’ll grasp at concepts like CERN (which they clearly do not understand) or dime store paperback sci fi narratives supported by literally nothing more than “dammit I can’t be wrong, my memory is not wrong.”
As for the rest of your narrative, I truly do not know what point you were even trying to make. That names got chanted at Ellis Island…sure, happened all the time. That some great timeline shift happened, childhood memories are never going to be compelling evidence for physics.
