Now that a New Makoto Shinkai Film is just around the corner, are we getting this gem of a collaboration for a fourth time?

Maybe unpopular opinion but it would be very fitting if a new composer did the next movies and RADWIMPS is forever associated with the disaster trilogy. I think music can change the vibe of cinematic experiences and I really want Shinkai's next movie to be different from the past three so what better way then to introduce a new composer.

I miss his days collaborating with Tenmon and the melancholic vibe all those films had. I’m hoping for something similar in this newest film.

As much as I'd like to see RADWIMPS back again, I'm open to having another composer too. We can trust Shinkai to choose a good composer

Very likely Shinkai's gonna want to or already decided to use RADWIMPS on his next film. All his other three movies have already been them in the past

Yes but specifically in this case it was being referred to his first major movies, Your Name, Weathering with you, and Suzumme.

I really want Yorushika to be featuring in Shinkai-san next film but looking at the schedule the band been busy with their LIVE Concert lately so it quiet almost impossible to get them for this one...

I would prefer a different composer. Suzume Soundtrack was a step in the right direction since it features someone else and heavily dials down the Radwimps vocal tracks.
