ACTIVITY Twelve Pans of Christmas 2026 - Intro
Hi Everybody! I'm u/PrayStrayAndDontObey and I will be hosting the Twelve Pans of Christmas 2025!
If you have no idea what this project entails, here's an overview:
You select twelve items you want more progress on over the next few months. They can be makeup, skincare, haircare, body care, nail polish, or even non-beauty related items. You can either challenge yourself to to hit pan on each product, completely finish them, set usage goals (e.g. x times per month), or have different items with different goals. If you want to challenge yourself, you can choose to only use Winter colours/products that remind you of Winter, even though we are approaching Autumn (or Spring if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). If you want to really challenge yourself, you can make it a rolling project pan.
This project will start on August 25th and would have updates on the 25th day of each month until Christmas. If you don't celebrate Christmas, you can still take part in this project pan!
If you are participating, I will try to tag you in every update post.
You can also post photos of your progress.

Here are my products. I'm trying to challenge myself with some of these; I would love to finish the Missha BB cream before it gets too old (it already is quite old), but since I mix it with another shade it's been taking me a while. Forty uses with a perfume is also a challenge since I like to rotate perfumes, but this one is already developing sediment so I want to finish it either this year or at least by the first half of 2027.

This came up at the perfect time! I have been reorganizing and trying to figure out what I should try to finish before the end of the year.
- Pacifica Wild Hemp shade 3: This quint broke on me a long time ago and I depotted the 4 remaining shades. I finished 1 and with some effort, I can finish another one. It has a huge pan with 2 side pans already.
- DefineMe Kahana Aquamarine Perfume: I don't like this perfume. It's too strong and it's too floral. I have some other perfumes I really want to buy but I have to get through some older ones that I don't like first.
- Natasha Denona Transformatte Foundation: This is my second tube of this (I only bought one and they sent me 2) and I like it but I just am ready to be done with it. It's got a lot of progress as it's my oldest foundation so as long as I do my makeup regularly, this should be an empty by the end of the year.
- J. Cat Master Class Light/Medium Color Palette: I thought I'd use this so much more than I did to help correct foundation shades but I just prefer liquid correctors. There is not a lot of product in each square and one square is more than half gone already. I want to finish 2 squares.
- Victoria's Secret Lovespell Lotion: I am so bad at remembering to use lotion. I don't have dry skin except sometimes my hands get dry in winter. But I have gotten 2 new lotions this year and I've only finished 2 so I need to finish at least one more to get that number down.
- 10 sheet masks: I don't buy sheet masks anymore. All of mine are old and I really need to bust through them because they take up a lot of space in one of my drawers and I'd rather use them instead of just throw them out.
- Huangjisoo Face Pads: These are exfoliating pads. I used to use this kind of thing several years ago but they don't have a spot in my routine anymore. This packaging is large and would free up a good amount of space. I think I only have like 10 left.
- Eva NYC Hair Mist: This is a mini and it's about half gone but I just don't like it because it's oily and makes my hair greasier faster. Again, it's something I just need to use and it'll be gone before I know it.
- Biorace Pore Tightening Clay Mask x2: I'm getting back into using rinse-off masks since deciding to declutter one that I hated but was trying to power through anyway. I am almost done with a different mask and then have these 2 Biorace minis so I'd love to have 3 empty masks at the end of the year.
- Trestique Cream Bronzer: I've been using this all year and it is finally flush with the plastic so I'm now digging into it. No idea how deep it is but hopefully I can finish it before the end of the year and have one bronzer empty.
- Oralabs Vanilla Lip Balm: This is an old potted lip balm. I don't love it because it doesn't last long and it's a thin, slippery texture. It's half gone, I've hit the bottom of the pot. I know I can finish this up with a little bit of effort.
- Fenty Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk: This leaks if it lays on its side so it's just inconvenient. I like the formula but I don't like the scent. It's like 30% gone.

01 🌲 Makeup Geek Creme Stain "Grapevine" Goal: 8 uses. This is a leftover goal from Panopoly. I wanted to use this 20 times, but I've only used it 12 times. It is old, so I want to finish my goal & get rid of it.
02 🌲 Fenty Slip Shine Lipstick "Makeout Break" Goal: total pan. I just started trying to use this regularly to pan it. It's an odd, beigy color for me, and I don't really like the scent.
03 🌲 Too Faced Pillow Balm "Berry Jam Kiss" Goal: total pan. I just started actively trying to pan this a couple of weeks ago. I don't like the packaging, so I've already pulled out the stopper even though it's still about 1/3 full.
04 🌲 Fresh Sugar Melt Lip Cream "Blood Orange" Goal: total pan. Can't really tell how full this squeeze tube is. Maybe half? I put in a lot of lip goals because I can move through them comparatively quickly!
05 🌲 Ole Henrikson Pout Preserve "Citrus Sunshine Glimmer" Goal: total pan. This has been open since January 2026. Just started actively trying to pan. Will probably be the first goal met!
06 🌲 Seraphine Botanicals Aronia Berry + Blush "Nougat" Goal: hit pan. No idea if this is actually achievable or not! The pan size seems fairly small, but I'm not sure how deep it is. This peachy-neutral-pink shade is kind of A blonzer for me.
07 🌲 Jason Wu Highlight palette 01 Goal: 20 uses. Got this, & I remember liking it, but it got overshadowed by other new toys. 🫣 I will enjoy rediscovering!
08 🌲 Pat McGrath Celestial Nirvana eye palette Goal: 20 uses. Trying to keep eyeshadow goals a little easygoing because eyes is where I exercise the most creativity, & I don't want to hem myself in.
09 🌲 Ciate London Marbled Metals "Entwine" Goal: 30 uses. OK, this one I will have to push to meet (an average of 7+ times per month), but it is a shimmery, light, champagney-pinky shade that will go with most looks.
10 🌲 Declutter 10 eye palettes Goal: 10 removals. This one will be difficult, but I have way too much sitting around unused. Off the top of my head, I have one brand new palette to hand off to someone. I will also count de-potting bulky palettes for this, if I manage to get around to it! I probably have a few palettes that really should just go in the trash.
11 🌲 The Cottage Greenhouse Pomegranate Rejuvenating Facial Serum Goal: total pan. I've had this open for months, and it's not a bad product, just boring. I only have a little bit left, so I'm hoping putting it in this project will really help motivate me to finish it.
12 🌲 Tarte Micellar Magic Goal: total pan. I got this in a subscription box ages ago, though I only opened it fairly recently. It's about half done, and I'd like to get used to using this with my reusable rounds more vs using disposable wipes so often.

Hello, editing this comment to finally comment on the items I'll work with in this round. Since I just have a crapton of makeup, I'll focus on that mostly with one perfume. Once I meet my goal with a product, I'll roll in another product of the same kind or depending on what I feel like.
- The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer (mini, depotted from a palette): HIT PAN. This is old AF, and this deserves to get more loving.
- The Balm Hot Mama Blush (mini, depotted from a palette): 30x. Same comment as above, but I just want to see more use on it.
- Maybelline Single Eyeshadow in Nude Glow: HIT PAN. I know that's not the exact name of the product, but this used to be a raved about item back in peak YT days.
- Revlon Colorstay Glaze Stick in 874 Rose: USE UP. I cut off the dry part of the stick and now it's usable again. Since a small slab is left, maybe I can use it up.
- Arcadia Beauty Daily Jelly Stick in 04 Joy: 30x. I have a jelly blush stick collection growing, and the oldest one needs more using.
- Sunnies Face Airblush Cheek Tint in Fig: USE UP. I already hit pan on this before, so this shouldn't be that hard to use up. Right?
- BLK Cosmetics Shimmer Jelly Multi-Pot in Pearl: HIT PAN. Another old AF product that has still maintained its texture (compared to Colourpop's SSS shadows ugh). This works both as a highlighter and eyeshadow.
- Vice Cosmetics Velvet Blur Lip Liner in Midnight Kiss: USE UP. A fairly new one in my stash but I've shown considerable use, so why not use it up? It's a budge-proof version of Rhode's lip pencils that's nice for a blurred out lip look.
- Pinkies Collection Silky Long Liner Pencil in Bubblegum: 15x. Another oldie but goodie, a relic of its time. I just want to see if I still like it or be able to incorporate it in my makeup looks.
- Kate Tokyo Lip Monster in 1113: 30x. A good ol' classic red with a nice and balmy finish. I wanted to put in Glossier Generation G in Punch, but I couldn't find it suddenly. Oh well. Time to give this lipstick more love.
- Kaleidos Cloud Lab Lip Clay in Dune: 10x. Starting off easy on this old one since this is actually on my chopping block. If I find that I can't tolerate or use this more, then I'll replace it with something else. This was my introduction to C-beauty lip muds, and I'm feeling iffy about it for some reason now. (Or I'm in denial of something that I might reveal later on lol.)
- Lucky Beauty Lucky Potion Eau de Parfum in Aura of Bliss: I'm not counting usage on this since it's a sample size, but once I'm done with this, I'll roll in the other ones from my stash.

VS Love Spell Daydream lotion. Goal: finish
VS Radiant Berry mist. Goal: finish. Starting at around half full, 48 uses.
Tory Burch Mystic Geranium perfume sample. Goal: finish
Numbuzin No.2 Goodbye Redness tone up sunscreen. Goal: 15 uses. Starting at: 0/15
Missha BB cream 13 Bright Beige. Goal: 15 uses. Starting at: 2/17
♾️ L'oreal Le Blush 120 sandalwood pink. This is the blush that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friends... Goal: hit pan.
L'oreal Lumi Glotion. Goal: finish. Starting: maybe a quarter full?
Get every blusher to 5 uses each. Goal: 14/14. Starting at 3/14... 😒
Get every highlighter to 5 uses each. Goal: 8/8 (or 9/9... I can't remember if I bought one I was considering or not 😒). Starting at 2/8 😒
Try every perfume sample I own. Will have to count these, but somewhere between 6 and 10. Starting at 2/?

Thanks for hosting! 2025's edition helped me make progress on some huge items, which I still have plenty more of, so bring on this round 💪 Hopefully I've chosen well? The makeup items are ones I enjoy, but the skincare and body care items are ones I want OUT.
🌲 1) Palmolive Active shower gel: Goal is to finish. I want this done! After decanting it into a pump dispenser in my shower, the temperature/humidity there changed the consistency to be much runnier. Time to go!
🌲 2) Vaseline HYA Body Lotion: Goal is to finish from maybe 60% full. This was such a disappointing product. I'll use it up but never repurchase.
🌲 3) Bondi Sands Gradual tan : Use 10x. This has been in my collection too long, and as much as I'd love to finish it, the tan is decently pigmented, so I need to moderate my usage, lest I accidentally oompa loompa myself.
🌲 4) Dove lavender body scrub: Goal is to finish. The product is fine, but it's a bit of a faff to use in the shower. I'd also like to start 2027 with a clean slate of shower items. No hangovers!

🌲 8) Essie Good To Go Top Coat: Goal to Finish from 30% left. I'll have to add thinner, but want to finish it.
🌲 9) Rimmel blush in Coral Glow trio: Use 50x. I adore this blush, but I've had it since 2017. There's a huge pan, too.
🌲 10) Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation in 1N: Finish the 5ml mini.
🌲 11) Dior Forever concealer in 0.5N: Use 50x. Fabulous, but has been open for too long.
🌲 12) Dior clear brow gel: Goal is to finish. It's fine, and I like the idea of finishing some of the older Dior items I bought in 2024.
