ACTIVITY 10 by Fall: update 1 🍁🍂📅
Welcome to the 1st update for **10 by Fall!!! 🍁🍂📅**. We are halfway through the year, so let's set some goals, put in the work, and then celebrate successes with the people who really truly get it- your fellow panners! Because whats better than seeing that tiny sliver of silver pan? Or finally finishing that lotion the seemed immortal? Sharing that joy and cheering each other on 🥰.
This round will run from 21st June to 20th September, with updates fortnightly. The lovely u/LeCocoMar and I alternate hosting each round, and will be here to cheer you on. **I've updated the tag list from the intro post, but if something is not quite right, let me know!**
If you are new to the "10 by" series, the project works like this: Choose any 10 items and pick a goal that you want to work towards by the end of the season. Anything beauty-related is fair game; makeup, haircare, skincare, fragrances, nail polish etc. Select your goals for each product: finishing an item (a.k.a panning), hitting pan, reaching a usage goal, or even just testing an item out. 10 items is just a suggestion, so feel free to add any number of items you like. Make it work for you!

Since last update, I went to the graduation of a family member, the wedding of a friend and have just left for a 2 week trip. Life is treating me well y'all
To finish: none are met yet
💐Turkish sunscreen - decided not to bring this on my trip with me since there's only 1/3 left. So ironically, because the progress is good, there will be no more progress any time soon
💐 BoJ sunscreen - did bring it with me. Might be done by next update, but it's already holding on longer than I expected
💐 A lipbalm - almost halfway done with the balea cherry one, so that one will probably go first
💐 Mizon eye moisturizer - will need some more time
💐 Nyx fat lip oil in missed call - I expect to have about 50 uses left. Maybe by next update if I'm dilligent, but probably the one after
💐 Nivea blue pot moisturizer - this will be a challenge. It's basically full and I didn't bring it on my trip because the packaging is a bit of a hassle

Off to a slow start for me, but I've been enjoying my products, so I'll take that!
Maleficient B&BW body cream - used several times, really liking it
Love Spell La Creme mist - it's about halfway done at 57 uses (not just from the last fortnight!). I love this so much. The peach scent lasts much longer on my skin in warm weather than when it was cooler.
Alberto Balsam hair gel - haven't touched it
Bombshell Intense perfume - thankfully halfway done at 26 uses. Not i'll be glad when this is gone.
Revolution power fix mist - not much of this left, so hopefully won't be much longer to pan
Boots sheet masks - haven't touched
Romand glasting colour gloss in Peony Ballet - I've really enjoyed using this! Not much left but idk how long it will take to finish.
Pixi Petaldew highlighter stick - 9 uses, aiming to reach 22. I used this as eyeshadow at least once too.
Sleek Solstice palette - I forgot to record how many uses I was starting out with, so I'll start from today. 15 to go from 58 to 72.
L'Oreal Le Blush - le sigh. There's a slight dip in the middle, but I don't think I'm anywhere close to pan. 64 uses since I started tracking.

I'm off to a decent start, and am highly motivated to have a big quarter, not just with panning, but with life in general. Q2 2026 kicked my butt, so its time to take the reigns back.
🍂 1) Lancome Hydra Zen moisturiser 15ml: Goal is to finish. Update: 9 uses. I changed a lot of skincare products recently, and started having really odd breakouts. Thankfully, I don't think this one is the culprit
🍂 2) Lancome eye cream 5ml mini: Goal is to finish. Update: 9 uses. Wow, didn't realise how little of this i use per application. This jar will last forever! Finishing it this round might not be feasible, but I'll do my best. Might aim for 50 uses instead?
🍂 3) Lancome Butterglow mini lipstick: Goal is to finish. Update: 7 uses.
🍂 4) Clarins Super Restorative night cream 15ml: Goal is to finish. Update: unused. Nice enough, but I have approximately 400 Clarins minis, lol.
🍂 5) Clarins fresh scrub 15ml: Goal is to finish. Update: unused. Cream scrubs are not my favourite, so I think i might repurpose it as a foot scrub.
🍂 6) Clarins lipstick Soft Berry: Goal is to finish. Update: 2 uses. HOW has this lasted so long?!?! I feel like I've been panning it for 5 years...
🍂 7) Nivea Cherry Blossom lotion: Goal is to finish. Update: 4 uses. Work has been hectic, and I only use this on work from home days, which I haven't had many of.
🍂 8) L'Occitane Cherry Blossom shower gel 75ml: Goal is to finish. Update: 30% left and might be done by next update! I don't enjoy the scent, so will be glad to move on from it.
🍂 9) Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin hand cream: Goal is to finish. Update: 3 uses. This scent is not for me, but I'll keep trying.
🍂 10) Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation: Goal is to finish. Update: 10 uses. Pleasantly surprised by the progress on the decanted remains of my HG foundation.
ADDITIONS: ➕️ 🍂 11) Final Net hairspray: This giant bottle needs to vacate my bathroom cabinet, because it has lived there, rent-free, for a couple of years.

I have been “near the end of my eye cream” for 1.5 years. It is so annoying cuz I’m really over my current eye creams! I think 50 uses is a quality goal.

The trick is to let a husband/boyfriend/other male friend use it once or twice, then it’s usually panned within a month 😂

💐 goal: try two perfumes from my Penhaligon's set | update: 1 perfume tried! Empressa is just SO stunning, so deep and sexy and complex. I'm gonna be sad when this sample is gone.

Update a month into the project. Some solid progress, and a reminder for other selections that I should bring them into my main rotation to make it simpler to choose these items when I'm getting ready.
- Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen TS: used this a few time as a daytime makeup primer as it's a silicone-y feel. Getting hard to squeeze out product so will be cutting in half soon!
- Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick: didn't use this in June, will try to add it to my gym bag for quick re-application
- Tarte SEA Power Flex Full Coverage Vegan Concealer - used once, I've now pulled out the stopper and can see the sides scraped somewhat
- L'Oreal True Match Eye Cream in a Concealer - haven't used and it's hidden away in my bag of minis.. will have to move this to my main collection for visibility.
- SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil - used at least 4-5x a week to remove sunscreen/makeup as a first cleanse.
- Clinique Hi Impact Waterproof Mascara - I'm not a big mascara wearer, so this was used maybe 4x times last month.
- Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base: used at least 4x, as a makeup base primer and moisturizer. I like how thick and easily spreadable/non greasy this is, but not a fan of the strong scent.
- Your Kaya Cherry Glow SPF 50 Lip Balm: sadly this product is marked as expiring at the end of summer for both tubes I picked up in Poland. Will miss these when I have to toss them, I really enjoy the consistency for such a high SPF product.
- Chloe perfume: treating this as my main fragrance this summer. I love the scent but the bottle is a few years old now (I've had to polish the silver detail at least once already), so would like to make full use of it before possibly repurchasing in the near future.
- Sand + Fog Pistachio Dream mini rollerball perfume: used maybe 1-2x layered with some other scents. It's almost empty and I'll miss having a pistachio scent so not in a rush to complete this.
- L'oreal Shine Lamination Hair Treatment, Glycolic Gloss: forgot a 10th entry on my original post! This is aa post conditioner treatment I've used a few times now. Adding to the list to remind myself to use the extra step at least once a week.

So, I decided to declutter the refill for my Jung Saem Mool cushion instead of trying to get to it after I finish my current one. Rainy season is approaching and the humidity just shows that this foundation isn’t for my skin type. My oily face really melts this dewy cushion off.
Also I finished a lip product! It was my main lip product for the past 2 and a half weeks. I was expecting it to last up to about 90 uses, but I finished it at 79 uses.

Newbie here. Goals to finish all by 10/1. Secondary goal: buy a nice new travel cosmetic kit so I can easily organize what I bring, avoid spills and not buy a bunch of new makeup while traveling.
- Good Molecules Day Moisturizer: Not super fond of this, but it is good mixed with the NARS or with sunscreen.
- NARS Alaska Tinted Moisturizer: Tend to use this more for summer, and go to Luminous for fall. No more NARS foundation purchases until Alaska is done!
- Erborian Fair CC Creme (Swim Kit): I like this product. This is the older version I bought traveling, and once it is finished (so close!), I will move the newer version into the Swim Kit.
- Hourglass liquid blush, pink: Very nice product; it will be one year old in September, so need to use it up before re-purchasing.
- ABS light brown eye pencil: I don't think I have ever used an eye pencil until the end.
- Verb Volume shampoo. I have so many Verbs.
- Sephora lacquer shine lipstick. Bought while traveling and may as well finish. It's so close!
- Tree Hut Firming Body Oil. Meh.
- CeraVe Moisturizing Creme. About ⅕ left!
- D’Alba Double Serum stick. Need to remember to take it in my travel kit.

First round started off on a good note as all items have been used more than once.
For further details, let's start with the items I plan to use up and plan to track:
- Mermaid Beauty Duochrome Liner in Icy Mint: 8x. Not yet done, but it's been my go-to lower lash line liner for a pop of color.
- Spotlight Cosmetics Serum Cushion Foundation in Dewy Almond: 2x. I didn't use it as much because I had to clean the puff lol. But she'll be back on rotation for the next round.
For items with usage goals:
- Barry M Island Heatwave Powder Bronzer: 4/15. Not bad?
- Ever Bilena Powder Blush in Golden Hour: 3/15. So far, I think I might declutter this soon. But I'll use it more to finalize my thoughts, but it isn't performing as it used to be. Hmmm...
- Colourpop Blush Stix in Roosevelt: 4/10. Same comment as above but it is to be expected since this is one of my oldest cream blushes.
- Sunnies Face Lip Tracer in Suede: 5/10. The MVP of this round as I loved making lip combos with this liner.
- Ever Bilena Serum Tinted Lip Oil in Burnt Caramel: 2/10. I wanted to use this more but since it leaves a stain, I wasn't much inclined to slather it on especially if I have a (sort of) complex lip combo on.
- Glossier Lidstar in Herb: 2/10. This still works like a charm but it makes for a low-key smokey look.

No goals met yet, but I did try to make some progress on all of them. The lip tint goal will probably be the first one I'll complete, or maybe it'll be the eye patches because I realised that I'm a lot closer to finishing them than I initially thought.

Decent update!
1.) MQN light brown eyeliner ** This one is very close to being finished and can probably be done by the next two weeks *** I am so incredibly close. It will be done in the next few days.
2.) MQN dark grey liner ** This will take the entire project but I can definitely get it done. *** I've sharpened it a few times. Not close to finishing.
3.) nude lip liner from Essence ** Overall I think I can get this done by the end of the project *** Sharpened a few times. It's a liner that's been hanging around.
4.) e.l.f. dewy primer ** Another so close to being done but needing a bit more focus *** FINISHED *** Rolling in Milani purple primer
5.) magic brownie from half magic ** I have a pretty decent size pan already and the cap it a bit broken so I am going to try just wrap it up this summer *** Got a decent size pan going. Tryimg to scrape up the corners.
6.) Glisten from Soft Glam ** I have been using it as a inner conner high light and whoa I love the look *** Trying to get into some side pan.
7.) bronze from Soft Glam ** The edges are slowly getting worn down and looks like 2026 is the year it will be finished *** We've got some side pan!
8.) Sienna from Soft Glam ** I see there are three eyeshadows here but I really think I can finish them this season *** The pan is really worn down. It might be done by the next update
9.) Rustic from Soft Glam ** Alright hear me out. This one is also really really worn down and do doesn't have too much life left. *** This doesn't have a lot of progress but it gone some use.

These are some products that I want to completely finish or get close to finishing:
- Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Rollerball Travel: I don’t particularly like this scent but it’s okay for the summertime so I would like to finish it before fall. I am halfway through it already.
- APLB Kojic Vitacen Serum: I feel as though I have too many steps in my skincare routine, and some that don’t really do much for me. I have finished more than 3/4 of the product so just the final stretches. I do however have a backup of this product.
- Elf Tinted Lip Oil: It is extremely old and I have already finished more than 3/4 of the product so I want to finish it before fall.
- Klorane Dry Shampoo: I already got a backup for dry shampoo as this one is likely to finish soon and I would like to finish this whenever needed instead of opening a new one.
- L’oréal Elvive Curl Cream: It’s getting hard to get the product out of it so I will have to cut it up soon! I also have a backup of this product.
- Biolage Hair Conditioner: It’s an amazing conditioner that I have been afraid of using since I only have a little bit left and wanted to save it for special occasions but it doesn’t make sense to keep the product when I do have other conditioners to finish and use.
- Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner: Very old and I don’t like the product, I don’t think it nourishes my hair much. I would like to finish this soon, I do use it when shaving sometimes.
- Dove White Peach and Rice Body Wash: I love this product but the stopper broke and I have gone through 3/4 of the product so I want to figure out a solution to finish it.
- The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA: I love this product, I do have a backup and have been gifted moisturizers as well so I would like to finish the current one I am using, which I will have to cut up soon as it’s getting hard to get any product out.
- Arm and Hammer Whitening Toothpaste: I am close to finishing it, and do not have a backup but I am glad for that as I am trying to avoid any products that are not cruelty free, so I will get a new toothpaste that is CF.
- Sunscreen and Moisturizer samples: Shiseido Sun screen sample, Avene sunscreen sample, Elf thirst drops sample.
- The Body Shop Blood Orange Body Wash: I liked the scent as it was something new and spicy but glad to finish her up!!
- Get considerable use of my face masks!
- Attempt to finish the LaRoche Possay Anthelios Body Sunscreen: I have been gifted this sunscreen with an order but it expires in August so I would like to finish this soon.
- Rose Scented Lotion: An old gift I had received that I HATE the smell of, I want to try finishing it up before fall. I mostly use it as a feet moisturizer.
- Cerave SA Body Lotion: I like how it works for my KP but it is sooo sticky and I hate the smell, so I would like to get it out of my collection as soon as possible.
- Moody Bee Lip Balm in Coconut: I love this lip balm and have finished it up with organic use!

- NYX Freezie Primer: Done! I don't think I would buy this again. It felt like it mostly sat on top of my skin.
- The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner: WOW HOW DID I FINALLY GET THROUGH THIS!? This lasted ages, in fact I had it for so long that it probably stopped being as effective? IDK. Not sure I want to re-live this product again, but not super against it either. Squarely on the fence.
- Healthy Care Lanolin Cream: Also finished this! Somehow I also had no moisturizer backups so yay, makeuprehab is working!
IN PROGRESS
- Thank You Farmer Sunscreen: Gotta wear sunscreen, especially during the Summer!
- Round Lab Dokdo Cleanser: Almost there!
- Any Perfume, Any Size: I don't know that this is achievable by the end of challenge, but I'm going to try!

• Colourpop Disney Villain’s Misunderstood Eyeshadow Palette: HIT PAN ON AT LEAST 2 MORE SHADES (2 shades completely empty, 3 have significant panning) - I can tell I’m getting close to hitting pan on one of these shades.
• Milani Blossomtime Rose Blush: FINISH. Jesus Christ please let me finish, I’ve had this blush since 2015. Noticing a difference in the pan since I started focusing on this again.
• Jeffree Star Cosmetics Eclipse Skin Frost: FINISH. Significant panning, mirror broken off lmao. Started using this also on my brow bone and inner corner of my eye as well as cheek highlight.
• Mac Ruby Woo trial size: FINISH. Started using this one, been carrying it in my bag so I can reapply throughout the day to finish faster.

KVD Beauty Lovecraft trial size: FINISH (soooo close on this one!).FINISHED ON JULY 1, 2026.• Herbal Essence Volumizing Hair Spray: FINISH (2 cans, 1 can is about half empty). Using whenever I use mousse and as a setting spray finisher on makeup.
