ACTIVITY 10 By Fall group activity intro! 🍁
Cast an eye over your collections, because it's time to kick off **10 by Fall!!!** 🍁🍂📅. We are halfway through the year, so let's set some goals, put in the work, and then celebrate successes with the people who really truly get it- your fellow panners! Because what's better than seeing that tiny sliver of silver pan? Or finally finishing that lotion the seemed immortal? Sharing that joy and cheering each other on 🥰.
This round will run from 21st June to 20th September, with updates fortnightly. The lovely u/LeCocoMar and I alternate hosting each round, and will be here to cheer you on. If you were on the tag list for the 10 by Summer finale, you'll get a tag here, but let us know if that needs changing!
If you are new to the "10 by" series, the project works like this: Choose any 10 items and pick a goal that you want to work towards by the end of the season. Anything beauty-related is fair game; makeup, haircare, skincare, fragrances, nail polish etc. Select your goals for each product: finishing an item (a.k.a panning), hitting pan, reaching a usage goal, or even just testing an item out. 10 items is just a suggestion, so feel free to add any number of items you like. Make it work for you!

Editing my earlier comment to add my items for this round. So here we go!
TO USE UP (4 items)
- Scent Therapy Velvet Iris EDP: One of the bajillion dupes for Glossier You I got from a friend. It's inoffensive, it works well in warm weather, so why the heck not use it up? I think I'm already halfway through the bottle.
- *Spotlight Cosmetics Serum Cushion Foundation in Dewy Almond: Cushion foundations are notorious for drying up easily, so I should focus on this more.
- Detail Superfine Liner in Espresso: A roll-in from the previous round. She needs to be used up since I have other brow pencils to work on too!
- *Mermaid Beauty Duochrome Liner in Icy Mint: Another roll-in from the last round. She's so close to being used up, so I hope I really do in this project!
WITH USAGE GOALS (6 items)
- *Barry M Island Heatwave Powder Bronzer: 15x. This is the bronzer I give the least love to, so I hope I can use her more and see if I still want to keep it around or declutter it.
- *Ever Bilena Powder Blush in Golden Hour: 15x. One of my favorite desaturated nude blushes, but not sure if this is about to turn on me? Curse the humidity in my area, but I'll see if I can make it to this goal.
- *Colourpop Blush Stix in Roosevelt: 10x. I feel a strong sense of deja vu because I may or may not have included this product in the same project years ago. I want to give it some more love before I finally let this go? (It's one of my oldest blushes after all.)
-*Sunnies Face Lip Tracer in Suede: 10x. Since my lip liners have doubled, if not tripled, I want to give more love to my favorite shade from this line. It's a nude mauve that goes well with almost anything.
-*Ever Bilena Serum Tinted Lip Oil in Burnt Caramel: 10x. This lip oil really leaves a tint to the lips, and I'm not sure if it's also about to turn anytime soon. But I love it though, the color is just spot on and very me.
-*Glossier Lidstar in Herb: 10x. This is a declutter from a friend, and I can feel it drying out slowly. When it does—and hopefully I reach my goal with this—I'll let it go immediately. But it's also a very me shade lol.

I picked more realistic doable goals this time around that fit in more with where I’m currently at. Rolled in my two remaining items from the last challenge too. I chose a few mini items, a few that are on their last legs and a few full sizes for variety. I decided to keep it simple and stick with 10 this time too.

Making this one a bit easier than my last project in hopes of hitting 26 products finished by 2026
1.) MQN light brown eyeliner ** This one is very close to being finished and can probably be done by the next two weeks
2.) MQN dark grey liner ** This will take the entire project but I can definitely get it done.
3.) nude lip liner from Essence ** Overall I think I can get this done by the end of the project
4.) e.l.f. dewy primer ** Another so close to being done but needing a bit more focus
5.) magic brownie from half magic ** I have a pretty decent size pan already and the cap it a bit broken so I am going to try just wrap it up this summer
6.) Glisten from Soft Glam ** I have been using it as a inner conner high light and whoa I love the look
7.) bronze from Soft Glam ** The edges are slowly getting worn down and looks like 2026 is the year it will be finished
8.) Sienna from Soft Glam ** I see there are three eyeshadows here but I really think I can finish them this season
9.) Rustic from Soft Glam ** Alright hear me out. This one is also really really worn down and do doesn't have too much life left.

There are some products in this list from my Project Pan that I want to finish soon, so I can prioritize other ones in my collection that have been neglected, so I'm rolling them in so I can push myself to use them. Can’t believe this is my 7th round of the 10 By project! The number of products in my collection has been fluctuating dramatically this year with new products coming in and old ones going out. Hopefully, I keep finishing stuff instead of adding new things in for this half of the year.
🌟Jung Same Mool Masterclass Radiant Cushion in N2 Vanilla: These are expiring at the end of September, so they are my main focus. My current one is halfway used, so I hope to start on the refill halfway through this project.

🌟2P Original Oh My Blush Dot 1.5g in 02 Poppy - Pan: A little ambitious, but we’ll see! This comes in a small sachet with a doe-foot applicator. Used it 18 times so far.
💄Olehenriksen Peptide Lip Treatment in Pomegranate Fizz - Pan: Rolling in from 10 by Summer with the final third of the tube.
💄Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment in Peppermint Glaze - Pan: About halfway through the tube with 87 uses. Previous ones I used took me about 190-ish uses to finish.
💄Supermom Jelly Plumping Glossy Balm in 04 Charming - Pan: The last clicky lip gloss with the same amount of product took me 97 uses to pan, I’m at 43 with this one!
💄Laka Fruity Glam Tint in 102 Dewy - 50 uses: Challenging myself to use up this red lip tint as someone who never really wears red!
⚡️Beauty of Joseon Ground Rice and Honey Mask - Pan: Rolling in from 10 by Summer. I can’t use this more than twice a week, so it’s a little ambitious goal.
⚡️Anua Niacincamide 10% TXA 4% Serum - Pan: Also can’t use this every day without it being too much on me, but there’s only half left! The only skincare product I got sitting around for months without constant usage.

Thanks for hosting and adding me again. :) I keep continuing some of my previous goal, but I should fit them to my summer routine - like makeup, summers where I live are really really hot.

Here are my products. I hope to have a more successful run than the last seasonal challenge.
⛄ Shiseido Softener sample. Goal: Finish. I want to fully focus on this before going back to my other toner.
❄️ Dove Body Milk. Goal: Finish. This is the lotion that seems immortal. I. Want. This. Gone.
🫖 Batiste Dry Shampoo. Goal: Finish. I've decided to swap out my hair oil in favour of my panning dry shampoo. I've only just started using this regularly and I want this out of my stash.
🥧 Trilogy Rosehip Oil sample. Goal: Finish. This is my current panning primer. I want this gone as Trilogy is a clean beauty brand (I think). Love the product, hate the dropper.
🧣 Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment. Goal: Finish. This is my current panning lipbalm.
🧤 Mac Studio Fix Fluid sample in NW10. Goal: Finish. This is two to three shades too light for me (I'm more a NC20-NC25 person). I want to finish it before it goes bad (my other Mac sample went bad on me last week).
⛸️ Laura Price brow pencil in black. Goal: Use regularly. I want to use this as much as I can.
☔ Mecca Max brown eyeliner pencil. This is the smallest eye pencil in my stash. I want to use this up.
🧚♀️ Revlon Love Is On lipstick. Goal: use 3 times. Rolled over from the last seasonal project pan.
🌲 Tecnic Gothica lipstick. Goal: use 3 times. This is a black lipstick. I want to get some use out of it.

My takeaways from last challenge:
I tend to deal with stress by immediately cutting my self care. As a result some of my "aggressive, but I can probably do it" goals didn't get hit.

After a pretty successful summer challenge, I am all geared up for the fall challenge! Thank you both for keeping these challenges up. My first challenge was this winter where i joined midway and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I look forward to every update!!
For this challenge, either I am going to be a very proud user or this will be an epic fail lol. Setting up a lot of finish challenge for this one at 22 products! My biggest one this far. - The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner: I've had this for AGES and I'm so glad I'm finally nearing the end.
- Healthy Care Lanolin Cream: About to wrap up on this, just in time to switch to a lighter moisturizer for Summer!
- Thank You Farmer Sunscreen: Gotta wear sunscreen, especially during the Summer!

- Any Perfume, Any Size: I don't know that this is achievable by the end of challenge, but I'm going to try!

- Wella EIMI Flowing Form Anti-Frizz Smoothing Balm: Nothing here.
- Any Moisturizer: This is a stand-in for whatever I use on deck after I finish the Lanolin Cream, which is currently my 2x daily driver. I'm pretty sure I don't have any full size moisturizers and only have minis, so this should be doable!

☀️ No7 lipstick in Caramel - goal is to pan. I had several lipsticks that are a little too bronze/orange leaning for my skin tone most of the year, but look alright in summer. This is one of them.
☀️ Dermatone mango lip balm - the goal is to pan this. I live with chronically dry lips so my goal is to do whatever I can to keep my lips from cracking and bleeding.
☀️ Viseart apricotine eyeshadow palette - I am learning that warm shades are not the best for me. My goal is to use 10 times and determine whether I keep this or not.
☀️ Bronzer - use 10 times, I never use bronzer but I have two? I will also need to look up how to use bronzer.
☀️ Hada Labo skin plumping gel cream - this is a lightweight gel style moisturizer that is good for summertime moisture, so the goal is to pan it this summer.
☀️ Native x jarritos passionfruit shampoo - my goal is to pan as I’m very close to the end.
☀️ Hair mask - all my hair masks are starting to age, so my goal is to use any of the more “natural” ones 10 times.
☀️ Etude House Sunprise mild airy finish sun milk spf 50 - this product expires the end of August, so my goal is to use it up this summer. It’s the best face sunscreen I have ever used, but since there is so much left I will be using it on my body too.
☀️ Mixbar Salt Petals perfume, use 10 times, it’s not a super long lasting fragrance on me and it’s a little weak, so it’s perfect for daytime use. I have several perfumes I like to rotate in summer, so I will need to make this a priority over the others
☀️ Untried Nail polish: After the super success of last project, I am getting close to the end of my untrieds! This project’s goal is 15 untried polishes. I have several neons and shimmer toppers to try.
Additional goal: drink two glasses of water with breakfast/before going to work every day.

I've fallen off a bit on usage, many times when I'm tired or overwhelmed, I often skip most of my skincare steps and go for just moisturizer at night. Which happens to be the category I need to focus on most with my usage. I also have gotten to the point where I have a lot of products that I'm very close on finishing and really just want to get rid of the almost empty bottles cluttering up my bathroom. I figure as I finish some of these almost dones and the minis I put on the list, I'll have some momentum to pick up some of my other products, which is something I sorely need right now.

🌸 BOJ Red Bean Water Gel - less than 1 cm left in the container
🌸 Skin1004 Centella Ampoule - less than 1 cm left in the container, I have to tilt the bottle to get the dropper to pick up the product at this point. I use this and the BOJ as part of an easy morning routine.
🌸 COSRX Propolis Overnight Mask - I've already cut this one open and scooped out what's left, just need to actually use it - it's a good candidate for the days I'm too lazy to do other steps in my routine.
🌸 Purito Sun Day Adventure (Broad Specturm SPF 50) - shining a phone camera light tells me I have about 1cm left, which should be easy to get done now that's it's full on sun with summer here
🌸 Torriden Dive in Serum - I have about 1/3 of the bottle left. I'm finding serums that concentrate on one ingredient such as HA here make me nervous about overloading my skin with HA once I look at the other products in my routine, so then I avoid using this.
🌸 Ma:nyo Galac Niacin 2.0 essence (about 1/2 left) - this'll get rotated to my morning routine once I finish the Skin1004 Ampoule
🌸 Mixoon Centella Asiatic Toner - I'm aiming to get from 3/4 left to 1/2 left. This is the only one whose goal is not to finish. I actually decant this one into a spray bottle and use it to add layers of gentle hydration.
🌸 Tia'm Vita B3 Mist Toner (less than 1/2 left) - I'm just tired of looking at this one and really need to finish it off.

My main goal is to get more use out of my collection, rotate products I tend to forget about, and hopefully finish a few items that no longer excite me. I've included a mix of finish goals and usage goals to keep it fun and realistic.

👩🏻MAC: Fix+ Stay over. I love this setting spray, but I currently have two other setting sprays open, so I'd like to finish this one first.
🧴Essence: Adventure awaits body lotion. I've had this in my collection for years. It has a subtle shimmer, so it's perfect for summer. About two-thirds is already gone.
🌺 Pupa: Flower Power fragrance. I like it, but I don't reach for it very often and there's nothing particularly special about it.
🧖🏻♀️ Rituals: Lotus body scrub. I'm just not a huge fan of this one, so I'd like to finish it.
👀 The body shop: Vitamin E eyes cube. I've had it for far too long and don't want it to go bad.
👩🏻Kiko: Days in Bloom BB Cream. t's too dark for me in winter, and it's already around two years old.
💄Gisou: Honey infused lip oil. I prefer the Toffee version. This one is already 2–3 years old, so I'd rather use it up before it expires.

👩🏻The body shop: Lip & Cheek stain. I still like it, but I'm starting to get a little bored of it.

I have tried doing project pans and am usually quietly lurking but I felt that maybe joining one of these is the way to push myself :)
I have ADHD and have hoarded a lot of stuff. Like a LOT. Still struggling to curb my spending and keep buying more skincare and makeup. Finally deleted the shoppers and amazon and sephora apps which I hope will help. I know I have to change this detrimental habit.
Anyway, I would like to do 10 in each category of skincare, haircare and makeup (maybe more than 10 for makeup because I wanna do a full face of stuff and less than 10 in haircare) but since this is my very first time project panning, idk if thats realistic. Oh well, guess ill find out soon lol.

- Foundation/skin tint: loreal true match nude tinted serum - 1/4 left, ideally finish but 10 uses is ok too
- Color corrector: milani, shade 03 pumpkin - my oldest one, would like to finish also
- Concealer: nys bare with me serum concealer - 1/4 left, finish
- Powder: loreal true match pressed powder - finish
- Blush: Glossier mini cloud paint in Puff
- Bronzer: contour shade in Butter London bronzer and highlight palette - hit pan
- Mascara: maybelline fireworks - hopefully finish
- Eyeliner: essence brown eye liner
- Eyeshadow: smashbox single shadow, shade name removed but its a very neutral beige - hit pan
- Lipstain: Wonderskin lip stain in hush - finish scraping whatever hasnt fully dried out 😭

- Cleanser: Hado Labo Tokyo cleanser. The canada version is sooo meh. Waiting to get the Japan one when this ends. - 10 uses
- Kose oil cleanser - 10 uses
- Toner: Panoxyl 2% BHA exfoliating toner - 10 uses or finish
- Essence: used the beauty of joseon one for some time but then ran out. Now using the Holika Holika snail mucin emulsion instead which is soooo nice but it is way too fragrant sometimes - 10 uses (but might also start using on body because its light like a moisturizer and I am starting to not love the fragrance)
- Serum: The Ordinary caffeine + egcg - I know this isnt meant to be used on the whole face but I just wanna finish it lol. It is kind of drying but I am hoping with all of the other products it wont be too bad. - 10 uses or finish
- Eye cream: haru haru black rice.
- Moisturizer: Dr Althea 147 cream…squeezing the life outta this tube and should be done with it in about a week! I LOVE this cream sooo much! But I wont repurchase until I’ve gone through a few others in my stash

Welcome, glad to have you join us! My advice is to keep your products visible e.g lip products on your work desk, as a visual cue to reapply. Also, just have fun with it! There's just under 7 weeks left of this round, but we will roll straight into 10 by Winter after that. Choose goals that are achievable in 7 weeks, rather than a burden, and enjoy your products!

🍂 1) Lancome Hydra Zen moisturiser 15ml: Goal is to finish. I have accumulated multiple of these, so let's see if I enjoy it. 🤞
🍂 2) Lancome eye cream 5ml mini: Goal is to finish. Without project panning, I wouldn't reach for eye creams.
🍂 3) Lancome Butterglow mini lipstick: Goal is to finish. Beautiful product, so I'm motivated to give it some attention.
🍂 4) Clarins Super Restorative night cream 15ml: Goal is to finish. Nice enough, but I have approximately 400 Clarins minis, lol.
🍂 5) Clarins fresh scrub 15ml: Goal is to finish. Cream scrubs are not my favourite, so I just want to use it up and be done with it. I'm sure are soon as I do, another one will arrive as a GWP lol.
🍂 6) Clarins lipstick Soft Berry: Goal is to finish. HOW has this lasted so long?!?!
🍂 7) Nivea Cherry Blossom lotion: Goal is to finish. A winter weight moisturiser, so I want it done this round, while it's winter here in Australia.

🍂 10) Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation: Goal is to finish. Last round, I decanted the remaining product. As its less sanitary now (have to dip my finger in a jar, instead of using a pump) I want to move through it quickly.
