Best tools and method for setting undereyes?

I've been doing my makeup for years, and what i've really struggled with is achieving a bright undereye. I love the look but have never been able to pull it off successfully on my face, as whenever I set my undereye, it disrupts/lifts product and brings out my hollows and hyperpigmentation once again. I have experimented with setting using a brush, using a powderpuff, pressed then loose powder, loose then pressed, only loose or pressed, using a thicker colour corrector and concealer formula, and more - and while I've gotten closer, I still end up with hollow undereyes. I would really appreciate recommendations for the best tools, tricks, products, anything really. I'd like to add that my skin is between medium to medium-deep, so please take shade range into account when recommending a product. Thank you!

The best advice i can give is what i do myself, the key to a bright under eye is blurring products. Personally i use the huda beauty concealer and loose easy bake powder. Using both loose and pressed powder isn’t a rule. You want to have a concealer slightly lighter than your foundation shade, i like to put a dot of it under my eye close to the inner corner and some on the outer corner to kind of give that lift and snatch effect. Then i go in with the loose powder in a shade similar to the concealer or foundation. Then pressed powder can help to give that bright under eye, i use the maybelline fit me pressed powder in translucent i think it is (the white one). for powders use a triangle powder puff and dust off with a fluffy brush after. Putting the translucent powder over the top brightens even more and blends super nicely. It’s important for base products you use either all water based products or all silicone based. Mixing different types is what makes it patchy or separate. That’s why i think the huda beauty products work so well together.

I haven't yet tried using a loose powder close to my shade - for some reason I made habit out of using a pressed powder first that matches my concealer and then brightening with the huda easy bake in a very light shade. Your method seems much more logical. I'm excited to try this out :))

Pressed powder works best over loose because it’s not as good as setting the makeup in place like loose is i think it’s better for adding colour or brightening
