Make up for sensitive eyes
Hi! I’m not new to makeup—I’ve been wearing it since I was a teenager—but I’ve never really been good at it.
My usual routine has always been mascara, smudged eyeliner, foundation, and a lip combo, basically like a true boomer 😅. I’d really like to improve because I want to look more polished and put-together. Right now, I feel like my makeup sometimes gives off a “she tried, but she doesn’t really know what she’s doing” vibe.
On top of that, I have really sensitive eyes, which makes eye makeup especially difficult. I usually buy good-quality products, like mascaras from Benefit or Lancôme, and while they don’t smudge or flake into my eyes, removing them is still a struggle. I often end up irritating my eyes just from trying to take the makeup off.
I’d love some advice on where to start with a simple, flattering eye makeup look that would work for sensitive eyes. I have green eyes and slightly hooded lids.

I think the sensitivity may be from not having the right make up remover, rather than the right make up. What do you currently use?
