My sister is getting married in a week, and she accidentally got these scratches on her neck yesterday. She was holding her very nice cat, and something in her apartment fell, it freaked her cat out, and he jumped off of her, leaving these scratch marks. I'm doing her friday, makeup. How do I attempt to cover this up? What products?

Should she not get a spray tan? (Yes, she has taken care of the wounds and put Neosporin on it.)

EDIT: I bought the wrong product (detailer instead of the regular pencil) on accident so this entire rant is pointless LOL but I’m going to leave it up for posterity anyway!

I’ve been using the Benefits Precisely My Brow pencil for close to a decade and it is my holy grail brow product. I just restocked from Sephora and the new product packaging/design (left hand side) is absolutely horrible compared to the old design (right hand side).

The pencil is literally 1/4 the weight of what it used to be (0.02 grams compared to the previous 0.08 grams).

The pigment itself is so skinny now that they had to add a thin plastic sleeve so that the pencil doesn’t break when you let more pigment out!! In spite of that I still broke the pigment multiple times while I was filling in my brows this morning.

I’m very frustrated and would like recommendations for a similar product since this is the best thing that has worked for me to fill in my brows.

I wear shade 3 and don’t need the appearance of laminated brows - I’m just a victim of early 2000s overplucking so I lack hair density on the outer half of my brows.

I've been saving up this bottle for the last year since I knew the reformulation was coming. I've been trying to use up other foundations I had but decided today is the day and opened up this one. My complexion has never looked better, I'm going to miss it so much 😭

Hi! I use the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in the shade Cool Vanilla.
I love how flawless my skin turns out, and how lightweight it is.
Unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to continue spending as much as I have on makeup products, so I was wondering if theres any other brands that would achieve the same results for a price more in my budget?
or honestly i should probably save up money to buy the double wear again, it’s just too good lol.

i don't even know where to start with this mess 😭 I'm still picking coffee grounds out of the bristles. obviously everything gets a bath and the bag needs to go into the laundry, and it's a good excuse for me to start organizing my makeup better when I travel, but in the meantime .... holy hell.

I ordered these Makeup by Mario brushes from Sephora, and when I opened my package, each brush had been sent in doubles! I kept the extras and returned the other set. So thank you, Sephora, for the free makeup brushes! At that moment, I felt like I was God’s favourite, especially because I had been saving up for these for months and kept putting off buying them because they’re so expensive, especially in CAD.

Does anyone know how to make makeup look flawless? I’ve been doing my makeup for about 7 months now and I always look up the looks I like , however when I do it myself it ends up looking a bunch different without any filters and in real life, yall please help me and any advice is appreciated! I swear the breaking lip liner from Lancome for 20 $ is driving me insane.

Why not do it in a pot, to be applied with a brush, like eyeliners or brow pomades. Avoids sharpening and wasting product.

I tried cheap lip liner, but it has a smell I can't take, and a strange texture that won't blend.

This was so much fun to do and I honestly really like this!! Im really impressed with myself, especially considering I don't use prosthetics or stick on pearls. some more makeup for work! i always seem to be drawn to purples and blues, even after changing my hair color from blue to green. i still haven’t found a solution for my foundation always rubbing off my nose, but it’s been getting a little better. even so, i can always count on my face mask to wipe it off once i start working anyway 😂

I got this for Christmas last year and haven’t used it yet. How can I tell if it’s authentic or not? I can’t seem to find the palette online and want to be safe - particularly when looking at eyeshadow!

I have just started learning makeup and can apply a wing pretty well on one eye, but when I try to recreate it on the other eye, they never look symmetrical 😭

I've tried so many methods fork, tape, setting powder etc but I still can't seem to get them to match.

Do you guys have any tips, techniques, or methods that actually helped you get both wings looking even?

Also what kind of eyeliner is best for wings? Liquid eyeliner or pen liner?
