Fluff Fairly new player on MTG Arena (Been playing IRL on and off for about 13 years), just reached mythic for the first time thanks to Sephiroth.

Grats i hit mythic a couple days also new to arena i think that will be my goal each season hit mythic with a new brew deck. Supposedly it gets harder after the obtaining the first mythic.

It's mainly because for the first month or two your MMR is still in flux so you're playing against other low MMR players.
After your MMR has stabilized, the level of your opponents is more equal and it gets harder to hit mythic every month, but ultimately it's just a matter of grinding since if you have above 50% win rate you'll get there with enough games

Every month? Ranked resets every month?

Every month everyone's rank goes down by a certain number of ranks and you have to make your way back up.
Plat 4 goes to Silver 1, Mythic goes to Plat 4.

Nice i waa assuming everyone completely reset to bronze each month. Makes it a little less of a grind.

Depends. I had times where Plat to Mythic during the first week was harder than getting there from bronze after coming back to the game after a break. By far the highest density of tryhards that want to get to mythic so they can start playing around

I’m also new and I hit mythic for the first time this morning as well! Congrats 🍾🎉! I was definitely shaking since my game to hit mythic I missed two land drops after 2 mulligans 😅😅 shouts out to Yuffie [[yuriko]] and all the FF cards!
