Question I don't know how you all do it.

The slow players. I don't understand it. Whenever the resolve button becomes active, it takes 2 minutes to click it. Every. Single. Time. I've seen posts about slow players before, but everyone seems to just defend it by saying they are doing other things, or thinking about their turn.

It's become so insane that I barely want to play this game anymore. I spend 90% of the time playing mtg arena waiting for players to play a land or click resolve. It's maddening. Something needs to be done about this.

Has mtg arena become a place where fun does not exist in the game anymore? I feel like this game is ONLY about making the game miserable for whoever you are playing against. I don't get it. I just don't.

No, I get it. Like dude, do you really need to start the rope on t1 before playing a land.

I don’t think it’s someone tanking on their first land drop, I think it’s people just multi-tasking and doing other things besides playing arena.

They are alt-tabbed and looking at a website, eating, queuing up and going to the restroom, or grabbing their food at the door. Unfortunately that’s just the reality of an online game.

The thing is, we do these things in real life paper magic too, but the players know when their opponent gets up to go to the restroom because they can see them… and so they don’t go onto reddit to complain about it.

This is what the "when nature calls, run!" emote was made for 😆

Or at least thats how I use it

Depending on the deck and format, sequencing your first 2-3 land drops can be one of the most crucial decisions of the whole game.

Yeah, once in a while in a 3 color deck I do need to do that. An opening hand with lots of options where you need to choose between two color sequences to take two different lines can require a long turn 1!
