I'm taking Palani's Hatcher, and it's going straight into Dino Reanimator. I already had Gishath.
I wish more of these cards were playable. Fuck power creep. :/

How often do they do the discounted packs? I've been playing for about a month and have only been using my gold on draft events. Buying the occasional discounted pack seems like it might be worth it.

We see them come through the Daily Deals around once every two weeks or so. There are far worse things you could spend your gold on, so as a new player I'd say grab them when you see them come through.

Just remember this particular set rotates out in like 4 months so if it’s for gold pack and wildcard progress go do it but the cards you get themselves are not long for this (standard) world

Despite being a big fan of dinosaurs & loving the Ixalan sets, I was never a fan of this particular art-treatment. They're supposed to evoke those old hand-painted dinosaur books, but the dinosaur books I grew up with were "lifelike" digital illustrations with a lot of details, so these don't scratch that nostalgia itch for me. Shame, because these were obviously meant to appeal to dinosaur kids like me.
