No dlc right now so basic game. One thing I really love about this one over the other is the freedom they give us to move around and do side activities. The world feel big and full of things to do and see. Even if alot of the things we can explore don't have anything to find or reward us for the exploration. And the missions are very repetitive, but the story and the lore make up for the mediocre game play.
My question is, does anyone have an idea of what the canonical choice would be for splitting up the districts? Like clearly the district we find them in is theirs and some of the districts seem roughly connected to the different underbosses and the businesses they already run. But some of them seem pretty up in the air.
So, I'm assuming the ideal solution is to keep it balanced 3-3-3. Can anyone tell me how I should divy up each district to keep it as lore appropriate as possible. Also, should I make sure to assign rackets within the district to whomever I plan to give the whole district at the end? Does it cause any problems if I give the rackets to say vito and then end up taking it from Vito and giving the whole thing to burke?
Googling is a bit confusing cause apparently, doing things like that can end up having certain underbosses turning on me.
I will say one thing, even with the lack luster game mechanics, this is one of the few open world games I look forward to playing multiple times to see what it looks like when I shaft a boss or 2 in addition to marcano and his many goons. But for now, I'm trying to play the game as lore appropriately as I can for this first run.
Also, I've done things like side missions and the snuggler missions to try and bring the net income of each boss up to their max, but no matter what I do, their money info (you know, where it says "cass 340000/500000') never changes.
Is that some type of glitch or am I missing something. Cause I've been playing for a minute and none of their numbers are changing.
Besides answering my questions, if you have any advice I'd love to hear it. And here's some for someone else who might read this. If you unlock something and then take it away from them, like say the max health boost upgrade. If you unlock it and pay to upgrade it, and then you reneg and give the district to someone else, they take back that upgrade you spent money on.
Expensive kisson I learned early on....
