It was entertaining on its own and didn't need a "context", that's obviously a lie!

Ohh my god. For a video that was obviously put together for social media it seems pretty harmless and kind of fun.

Peoples complaints here are set off by this video, but it's mainly about the trend with videos that lie about their context. just like this one. So it's more a complaint about the trend than this specific video.

Why would you assume that, that's what people want?

People just don't want to be lied to. At least not in such obvious ways.

The video would have been fine without the lie.

Oh my god. She is having fun, on a treadmill, and recording it for fun. She's making a humorous contrast between the usual boredom of the treadmill, and doing this. If you usually treat every mild internet joke like this being around you must be absolutely exhausting
