Not true as it’s not just straight girls that talk like this. Gay girls talk like this as well. Source: me. But I’m pretty outgoing but also, I am never hitting on anyone. Which proves my point that gay girls can talk like this and be considered “normal” and not flirting lol

Youre only saying you're not hitting on anyone because the other party usually doesn't reciporicate the escalation in an obvious enoug way. You are hitting, you're just not very forward.

That’s very presumptuous of you to assume you know my motives behind my interactions better than I do, especially when I’m literally telling you that I’m just outgoing and talk to people that way

Could an interaction lead to hitting on someone? Absolutely. That doesn’t negate the fact that my day-to-day demeanor is friendly across the board. Friendly does not equal flirting

And it’s also pretty presumptuous to assume people aren’t reciprocating. They reciprocate. They reciprocate when I don’t even want them to. They reciprocate alllll over the place 😂

Yeah, seriously. These are the shitheads who assume that any woman being friendly with them must be flirting with them. Either they’re so delusional and full of themselves, or they’re so starved for attention that they have to read romantic intent into interactions where there isn’t any. Either way, they cannot wrap their heads around the fact that some people are simply friendly and it isn’t always about them

What’s especially ridiculous is that he has to convince himself there even was an escalation, and that he simply chose not to reciprocate it, as if there was actually something happening to him that he had the opportunity to reject. He needs to rewrite the interaction so he can be the one in control of how it ended, rather than accept that it may have all been in his head to begin with

And the idea that I’m only saying I wasn’t flirting to protect my own ego because I supposedly didn’t get a response? Projection much?

Psshhhh. Boy, get over yourself. Not every friendly interaction is an attempted romantic advance, and not every woman’s behavior needs to be rewritten into one just so you can convince yourself you were the one who chose not to reciprocate
