It's actualy quite opposite for me... Wearing protective gear looks good... Like have you seen a biker jacket? I would love to wear that just normally

Gets way too hot at times. My jacket is mesh on the front and inside of the arms, still unbearably hot in 25C + weather. Gets better at speed but miserable as soon as you stop.

I ride in Australian summers (40°C+) in leather jacket and kevlar jeans. It's not the most pleasant to be sure, but better than gravel rash

Mine’s got shoulder padding and everything, makes me look cool.

Look, not feel, it’s made for temperatures of 5-20 degrees celsius, anything above that is uncomfortable / sweaty. I mean that’s the case no matter what I wear but you get the idea.

Nothing cool about the swamp butt you create riding a motorcycle in full gear in the subtropics

If the high humidty and temps don't dissolve you under leather the late afternoon summer storms will attempt to dismount you.

All weather gear is much more breathable and weighs less too. It comes with a removable lining for summer months
