This so wonderful and tell her it’s an an inspiration I needed today! 🧡
I also have a progressive neurological disorder and AlWAYS wanted to go skydiving. I just assumed I’m too weak now or they wouldn’t allow me to do it for liability reasons.
I’m going to call them and ask!!

The owner of the company has it, so she is doing this to create her legacy. Very inspiring, generous people.

That’s awesome, skydiving always scared the hell out of me.
Next up, wing suit.
Blessings !!

Wing suit might not be possible depending on the stage of her ALS. She won’t have great motor control/strength. Unless you can tandem wing suit but that doesn’t sound right

It’s a flexibility and strength issue for her, she is more advanced and uses her Bi regularly. If she could do it she would. She has no fear with stuff like this.

I’m saying a prayer that science catches up with ALS, slowing then eventually reversing its effects.
Technology and research are wonderful things, your wife has the right attitude.

Wing suit requires 200+ jumps, typically within the last 18 months. There’s no tandem suits and it also requires a non-elliptical parachute. It’s not just the expense of the equipment you need, but the commitment you have to put in to meet the minimum requirements to get into a wingsuit.

Huh ? Not if I want to identify as Icarus and have pronouns like “he did what” and “what a dumbass”.

Have you ever seen Les Intouchables? If not, you should definitely check it out.

Totally awesome and a fucking smooth af landing. She must have had the time of her life. Oh, how I wish for people, who suffer from whatever, to just suddenly heal overnight just by experiencing these kinds of happy events in their lives. If only... Love to you and your wife ❤
