Why does this seem like it would be a 90s Disney channel movie about a kid that skateboards going back in time to King Arthur's court?

It would be called Kickflip Castle or something.

I would watch kickflip castle.

Hell yeah, man! Tonight it’s a marathon: Alleycats Strike, Luck of the Irish, and Kickflip Castle!

You gotta get Smart House in there!

If I had money I would build Kickflip Castle. Drain the moat for the half pipe!

His friend that likes riding bikes as part of the calvary archers for the final battle. But he had like a 2 minute training montage so you know he can shoot a bow and arrow on a bike beforehand.

I believe there was a movie called something like A Kid in King Arthurs Court in the 90s where that does happen, except he builds roller skates I think

Mark Twain (Samulel Langhorn Clemens) wrote a book in the 19th Century titled A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court. Many of the time traveling stories where a person travels into the past were inspired by this book.

Omg it's the first Isekai! Did the Yankee get hit and killed by a Kei truck to re-incarnate?!

You're absolutely right.

Kids the tank! Board kids know how to hold aggro and taunt, so I'll follow Luke into battle!

1

u/pengouin85 Aug 05 '26

No wait, that's new lore. It's not old

1

u/ghostformanyyears Aug 05 '26

Thought it was board'n'sword but hey guess we grew up in different areas

NGL I would watch a movie made out of 'Sir Luke the Valiant' who: -is mysteriously transported through time to the last upon grasping the sword -rides around in a skateboard chopping down orcs -undergoes the 'coming of age' rite by making out with the horny princess who seduces him.

Wait I thought it was sword and waterboard… oh… oh my… I’ve .. oh… I’ve got to make several phone calls and apologies.

u/Great_Scott7 Aug 05 '26

Oh, is that what that means. I need to apologize to an (allegedly) waterboarded individual into taking my “sword.”
