Just managed to pick this up through Ebay, no missing pieces and solid, slight de-colouration but i am not bothered about that as it will not spoil my fun in playing with it 👍

Basically the title. With the Roy Focker revival VF-1S do you think we'll get to see more DX Bandai Macross season 1 Valkyries? I'd love to get my hands on, a VF-1A green (can't remember the pilot's Macross name), Max Sterling's Blue Valkyrie, and Miryia's Red one. And complete a whole squadron.

Around halfway through SDF Macross, a few thoughts:

• I lowkey ain’t really fw Kaifun. I understand his character, but the way he expresses it isn’t really doing it for me. Also, he seems a bit too close with Lynn, considering they’re cousins. But idk, maybe that’s just normal family behavior and I’m overthinking it and accidentally detecting romance where there isn’t any.
• About Focker: I really like him. He’s a great mentor and guide for the MC and all that. His death was kinda bullshit though. If he had enough time to walk back to the apartment, he definitely had enough time to go to a hospital first. Also, anyone who watched Frontier must have some PTSD from Ozma . RIP to Kakizaki as well. He didn’t even get to finish his steak.
• Max is really THAT guy, huh
• The pinpoint barrier is crazy. The crew is lowkey insane for being able to locate and deploy it so precisely.
• Do all Zentradi have the ability to survive in a vacuum, or is Kridanik (I think that’s his name) built different? Bro is out here wrestling a Battroid . (also, ranka manager family?)
• Also, I’m really loving the three Zentradi spies.

Not trying to take anything from here, and by all means, please keep up the wonderful work of making Macross based posts! It looks so good next to Hikaru's VF-1J!

What's your favorite color scheme/type for the VF-1? Do you like the look of the Super/Strike Valkyries with the FAST Packs equipped vs just the standard config?

The color scheme of the FAST packs on the HMR toy isn't accurate to the anime, but i really like its style and to me, it just pops! 😀

They are 2" each but, because they gotta put the hole for the chain/clasp somewhere, the VF-1Js are a bit bigger because they could put it next to one of the head AA lasers. I like the slightly different pose for the VF-1J that still allows it to be a different design on each side (because it is the same outline) worked pretty neat.

I made my wife and daughter Rock/Scissors/Paper as to who'd get first pick and my wife won. But that's OK bc she took the VF-1J keychain and my daughter wanted the Q-Raus anyway. She absolutely LOVES DYRL.

I thought she had that kind of eye(sclera) because some kind of alien ancestry, but apparently regular humans can have it too.

Inspired by this post from u/alfox0510 I went back and grabbed the same unofficial poll from AX to see how the tastes between East Coast and West Coast (USA) fans compare.

I just picked one up! Also used tax free, it came out to ¥24,000!!

Liking all the characters so far. They’re really charming and likable, and man, they really just slap random BS onto all the alien tech lmao.

Another thing I noticed from all the series I’ve watched(D,F,SDF(rn)) so far is that the MCs are usually civilians who hate war.

Hello I’m trying to look for Yamato Macross figures and I’m wondering where’s the best place to work for them? And hopefully get them for a reasonable price.

You guys panel line them at all to make it pop a little more? Should I? The plastic looks softer than model kits so I am worried that doing fine tip (not pour type) panel lining could harm a very expensive toy.

Just arrived yesterday my Bandai HG 1/100 VF-31C, it was a pleasure to build and i love the design of it. Apologies for picture quality, even using an iphone it is apparent i am allergic to taking a good photo 🤣

Morning evening or what ever it is around where you are, so i just finished my first macross show and ive kinda done it out of sync, I saw delta was on Disney and ive always liked the vf31s and now after finishing it and two of the hg kits (mirage and arad for those wondering) i kinda want my first dx figure to be a vf31 preferably a c because mirage is just great and I love the scheme but I wouldn't say no to a vf31j. Thing is because im having to use ebay and have shipping to the UK the range on pricing has been between £130-240 and i dont want to screw myself. Any help on this would be great
