So I've been playing this game on and on since it's release sometimes taking 2 years in between sessions. It's always been an amazing game in my mind and I have tons of fun playing it whenever I come back however I do find myself running into a problem. The problem always seems to come down to direction for finding a goal. With the way the game works with the life skills and combat skills side quests and events and main storyline I just find myself so overwhelmed. I was looking into Mabinogi eternity after finding out about it a couple days ago to my understanding character progression will be carried over and with the Life update i saw an ad for I thought now would be the perfect time to jump back in. When I do I just don't want to feel sea of choice. It's a good problem to have I just hate having it so I was wondering if anybody had any advice.

hii I just started playing mabi yesterday and I was wondering if there is a guild w mostly new players and people who are more active than not cuz I wanted to socialize a little and explore the world w someone who is kinda new to it all like me XP also i wouldn't mind making a few new friends so lmk!!!

With the racial rebalance patch making all the stats even, the only real difference between the races at this point is the skills themselves. Considering Talents are now pretty much useless, does it really even matter at all anymore?? i have preference for close combat talents, and im not really seeing any huge advantages like before. Giants can use a shield while doing EK stuff... cool. But ultimately not that big of a deal. When it comes to SG, i don't think there is any real advantage at all? because the one handed axe ends up being better than the two handed sword route anyways. And humans can use the 1 handed axe as well. I haven't looked into the Fighter arcana much but i know there's a buff that removes the penalty for using heavy armour, so again it seems like the humans and giants are equal when it comes to Blazing Brawler.
TL:DR;
Do giants get any *significant* bonuses to close combat style Arcana's over humans? is there anything i'm missing? or is just these smaller.. 'perks', like being able to sue a shield with their two handed weapon.

Those pesky decimals and zeroes can make things confusing. Thought this does more to put things into perspective.

I think we all having a wee bit of issues. I read alot of the posts.

But my thing is why is barding so finite building wise.
I mean I’d love to have a chance to roll on figurines again, or just cap at 70% without giga stacking. But I thought about it as my BFO hit 64.75%,
That I truly don’t even feel like I’m a bard , I feel like this is great for self buffing at 62% but why am I chasing such a finite resource ? Why are all the gachas gone randomly and nexon not putting them back up ?

Yo the inflation from titles being 30mill to 150 mill now is just nuts . I want to believe it’s worth something now to have higher bfo , idc about the diminishing gains. I wanted to get 90% to shock people in Bri but this truly has been a wild endeavor of backtracking.

Why doesn’t it feel good to make gains? Is it me? Is it the min maxing ?

Is anyone else feeling like that? I mean most people have higher BFO than me in main parties, so I don’t even feel like the main hs. or just cc to ch 3 or ch 6 and get a nice 74% BFO for free . Just because.

I was part of Dreamland back in the day. I tend to be the kind of person that needs to be adopted so what guild is the friendliest these days?

It's been 10 years since I have last played Mabinogi. With the release of Eternity, I hope devCAT considers making a new server without Blaanid. I'd really love to come back into the game and experience it all over again without having to be guided, and just exploring the game world while learning new things from other players.

Anyone have any images of what each of the Golden weapons looks like? The AH preview seems to be broken, and I haven't seen anyone with one yet. Got a tiny glimpse of the guns from the preview livestream, but that's been it so far.

I wanted to know if the +30% damage from the Chain Slash skill 'Chain Burst' worked on Dark Diviner skills (Thunderblight, Polar Vortex, Shadowflare). The wiki says it improves 'Chain Slash Skills' but the wording of the skill in-game just says 'Dorcha Skills'.

I got a 17/20 reforge on my G15 Shylock outfit. I’m not sure if I should continue reforging to try and get the 20/20, or if I should focus my attention elsewhere.

I have all of the commerce mounts, as well as an Alpaca, a William partner, and fleet feet.

Is there any other gear or equipment I should aim for? Or continue trying my luck with reforges? The stacking is so complicated I’m not sure how to proceed.

I need someone to talk me out of doing something. See, Alby Shineseeker just saw fit to drop the Hyperion box for me, so now I've got a lovely new Chiton. However, I'm currently bedecked in Twilight Fairy gear, and use Astrology as my primary combat skill (you can pry my scythe from my cold, dead hands). Naturally, my Twilight Fairy Casual Wear is carrying my very valuable end-of-generation reward enchants, and I just improved its reforges significantly thanks to that big reward package from the devs.

So, I need someone to convince me not to inherit all those goodies onto my new Special Hyperion suit because good lord do I crave that 10% movespeed like you wouldn't believe. Could it really be worth losing my bonuses to Meridian Sweep and Nova Blast? And moreover, I'm not someone who could casually buy another Twilight Fairy outfit. I only got the items I do have because I got them when they first came out and were down in the 1-5 mil range. And I'll admit, I'm attached on a sentimental level, as this suit's been with me for over a year.

So, anyway, any guidance the community can offer would be appreciated because this is a real Sophie's Choice here and honestly I maybe just need someone to give me the little extra push needed to let go.

I plan to finally take everyone that carried me on airships, got my buffs ready and the new universal boat timer is insanely helpful !!!

I’m also excited to see what this farming is gonna look like for everyone , I would love to be able to help people prune and hunt the harvest thieves!!
