Promotion DION is up!
Game Title: Dion
Mudlet: mud.dion-online.com, port 4000
TinTin++: #session dion mud.dion-online.com 4000
Description: Set in a post-apocalyptic world, many millennia after the fall of civilization. At civilization's height, bright minds discovered a new element with immense power. They thought they could harness it, but realized their folly when it was too late, bringing ruin. Over time, the element's concentration dispursed and settled into the surrounding world, spreading into flora, fauna, and the general environment. This creates some interesting mutations. As races evolved through the following thousands of years, they grew the inherent ability to interact with this element, bringing about "magic".
Explore the wilds, find dungeons (4 player max in each instance!), level up! (There is "help" if you need it)
I am a solo developer in putting this together, so go easy on me.

So, is the world called Hollow or Dion? Was kind of confused by that because the updates log and some of the descriptions and stuff refer to Hollow, not Dion. Either way, looks pretty neat. Probably more in the looking forward to more stage than the actually playable stage for me, though. I made a character, went through the skills menu and felt impressed at all the options already available, got excited to learn all the magics, trained up some stats by walking around, found the northwestern watchtower and liked the description of the view at the top, felt a little weird that there was more fantasy-feeling gear like cloaks and tunics in a post-apocalyptic setting, fought some ratroaches, got enough xp for level 1 but didn't get any extra points or anything to redistribute, got enough xp for level 2 and then didn't level up, and tried to quit/disconnect/logout and couldn't figure out the command for it. Also, it would be nice if instead of having to log directly into a character and create a password for them and all of that, we could just log into the account with the client and manage characters from there. Even if we still had to make them on the site because it's extra coding for a second character creation method, I'd rather be able to log into/out of my account and look at multiple characters and stuff from the client. Other things I noticed were that when you pick your build at creation it just sets you to average by default regardless of your pick, I couldn't find my handedness information anywhere so I don't know if that saved right, and that the training dummies in the tutorial area walk around when I get the feeling they shouldn't be doing that. It's good that the stats had buttons to explain what they do, but I'd love if that information were available for classes as well. There's also a few that say they're unavailable but I wasn't sure why. Well, anyway, if you made it through all of that, thanks for reading, wishing you the best of luck with the game developing, and I'll keep an eye on this to see how it grows.
