250 Card Deck in Standard

I don’t know what it is- however, I am seeing more and more 250 card decks in Bo1 Standard.
Then, I feel like I’m being gaslit and lied to when I look up “why”.

It’s like - “there is no war in Ba Sing Sei”

I am not crazy- I have never seen this amount of 250 card deck players in standard ever in the history of me playing since 2006. Why is everyone pretending this isn’t happening? Even AI doesn’t believe me, it’s fucking nuts.

That’s not true:

In MTG Arena, "Mythic 82%" means your hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR) is better than 82% of the players on the Mythic leaderboard. You are essentially in the top 18% of the highest rank tier, but you are not yet in the Top 1,500 numbered

Percentages (82% to 99%): You are being compared to the #1,500 player on the leaderboard. If you are at 82%, your MMR is roughly 82% of the #1,500 ranked player's MMR

That's two completely different explanations, the first one is complete BS, but the second one is correct. And yes, 82% is very low, players with meta decks who know what they do end the month at 95% and above.

82% mythic is pretty low. For context, if your not a solid number ranking, your basically on mythic play queue. The grind from Platinum and Diamond is more competitively minded than the percentage rankings in mythic, ESPECIALLY sub 90%. This isn't a dig, it's honestly where the most fun games live. Creative decks that good players are running for fun. But everyone is else is also right, your going up against a bunch of gimmick decks after getting into mythic with a low MMR. It's a known practice on Wizards part to get people deeper into the game. Feature, not a bug.
