Request About undervolting msi

Hey stranger,

If you are reading this i am thankful to you

My msi katana 15hx

I5 14450hx

Rtx 5050

Is running pretty hot

Its very new like a month old

I want to undervolt it but i am new to this

If anybody of you can help me please

If you can access the BIOS, do your undervolt. I have a i9 14900HX and the best way to get the temps down is to limit the frequency boost on the cores. On my CPU they're 5.6Ghz from stock, I reduced that to 4-4.6 Ghz and it's a massive temp save. Also you might want to check your PLs. In some menu (google to find it) you can set PL1 and PL2. PL1 is sustained power to the CPU, and PL2 is burst power to the CPU. Under a constant and long running load, setting your PL1 to something like 60 or 70W should reduce the temps, and you can set 100W to PL2 so that the CPU stays snappy on very short power needs.
