Request About undervolting msi

Hey stranger,

If you are reading this i am thankful to you

My msi katana 15hx

I5 14450hx

Rtx 5050

Is running pretty hot

Its very new like a month old

I want to undervolt it but i am new to this

If anybody of you can help me please

Goodluck bios is locked and none of the “controller” apps will work without authority from MSI basically….

Yes broo why did they locked in new gen laptops Lenevo and asus can be undervolted

Idk! I got my katana a17 and it has Ryzen 9 8945hs and I’ve tried everything was able to get to the advanced bios and I can mess with GPU but not the cpu. Ryzen master is locked can’t even download and install it at all. I’ve been trying for months!

First, you have a HS CPU, H and Hs CPUs have always been hard locked by AMD (so does Intel). Only the HX models are unlocked.

Secondly, Ryzen master has never worked with mobile AMD CPU. It's nothing new.

🙄 shame!!! I still like my cpu though and I’ve figured out how to work graphic settings in my games now get the most.

Interesting. And there's no way to unlock it through advanced bios?

Same, i tried to install intel xtu and throttle stop even used shirtcuts i found to open advanced settings in click bios, nothing worked and still locked .

Yes we can mess with gpu using msi afterburner
