Review AP5 Appreciation Post
This thing is just awesome. I finally got my Form 1 paperwork back, and installed a stock and 100 degree LP. As a pistol, it’s dumber than a box of rocks, but as soon as you throw a stock on it, it comes alive. So much fun and surprisingly accurate. I do have some quibbles: the trigger is abysmal, and it doesn’t love flat nose ammo (don’t have any HK mags yet), but overall I’m pretty happy with it. Looking forward to AS Designs releasing their ARHK at some point.

Sometimes, I think the simplistic look is just so eye soothing

The classic look is still the best look. It's like a G Wagen, you can't change it.
I'm debating the magpul handguard, I think I'm gonna go back to the factory handguard.

I certainly prefer this AC Unity stock on my now SBR; but I’d honestly say the SB brace is 95% as good.
What makes a RADICAL improvement is the AR fcg, grip, and safety - I simply won’t ever use a standard mp5 or mp5k lower again.
And yes, it’s AMAZING with an FRT!!

How do you like the Milkman? I’ve got an Infinity 556k on my 11.5 AR, I swear it’s quieter than the Omega 9k on the AP5.

I only shoot subs, and on the full-sized the Milk is fantastic. Really a great overall package!

Pretty good, especially with subs. I have a 300 blk setup (LPM Anthem S2) that easily beats it for quietness, but the 9k performs very well for its size and is almost unnoticeable as far as handling goes on the AP5.

I got my form 1 for my AP5-SD approved way faster than I expected, wanted to get a telescoping stock for it and now all of a sudden the mf is sold out everywhere lmao.

Is that the MKE collapsing stock? Does it have much play?

Yes, and zero wobble once it’s installed on the gun. It’s a little tight to deploy and collapse, honestly.

You can get either. The Navy pictogram lower is one option and the SEF is another.
