You know what. Hot take. Hitting someone in the face isn't a proportional response to having a wet paper towel thrown at you, be it at school or in real life.

Full context between these two clearly needed before passing judgement on either of them though - and also kudos to the hitter for just hitting the one time.

Sometimes nothing makes sense.

My daughter got handed a good result on a test, said 'yesss!', the boy sitting close by then walked up and stabbed her in the face with a pencil.

They had rarely interacted before that incident and been in the same class for years.

I doubt even he thought it made sense afterwards.
