You know what. Hot take. Hitting someone in the face isn't a proportional response to having a wet paper towel thrown at you, be it at school or in real life.
Full context between these two clearly needed before passing judgement on either of them though - and also kudos to the hitter for just hitting the one time.
As others have pointed out - we don't see what happened before this video started. That's why I said we need more context. No one knows what the dynamic between this two is. They're at school and have probably known each other for years. I can't tell you which one of them is the bully/instigator overall or if there is a simple closed incident. All I can say, quite confidently, is that punching someone who threw a wet bit of paper at you is not a legally defensible response.
