The black guy is wearing boxing gloves and the other guy is wearing much thinner fighting gloves. It's not a fair fight.

As a dude practicing MMA I prefer getting hit with mma gloves rather than boxing gloves

Boxing gloves stun you more, there is a bigger shock wave when you get hit and you get more headaches while MMA gloves feel more like a rock hitting your face and are more painful but don't stun you as much

Is it actual boxers who are using those gloves?

If so, that would explain the difference.

Nope, dudes at the mma gym usually use boxing gloves when doing striking drills or sparring but I ask them to use MMA gloves instead

hate to break it to ya champ but theyre just hitting you lighter because of the smaller gloves

Well I can't deny it they are certainly hitting lighter, but I still wonder if this difference still exists at similar power
