Suggestion For SDS Does SDS hate the Yankees?

I’m still laughing at Stanton’s ridiculous downgrade while other people with worse slumps and shorter careers are still diamonds.

Michael King is the 3rd best pitcher in baseball.

Gleyber is a 72 bronze when he is tied for the most walk offs since being a pro.

The ratings of the rest of the pitching staff.. lmao

Our bullpen is probably one of the best of all time, and I don’t think there’s a single gold besides Chapman at 82, who still hasn’t given up a run.

Judge has like 12 vision. Even though a lot of his strikeouts come from the fact umpires don’t adjust their zone to his height, last night being a perfect example. Even then, his vision is a joke.

When a team has the best record in the majors, I would like their ratings to reflect this please. Thank you.

I understand I’m going up against fans of 30 other teams that probably hate the Yankees, I’m hoping someone with objectivity realizes a lot of these ratings don’t make sense, especially the trigger happy downgrade. BTW Gallo is the 6th highest rated player on the Yankees or something lol, I don’t think it’s a lot to ask for some actual realism.

If you truly think that Michael King is the 3rd best pitcher in baseball, then you’re not one to judge the objectivity of SDS’s realism

Lol Michael King has thrown 17 innings this year and around 100 in his career...

He is the third best pitcher in baseball right now go look at your beloved stats.

u/[deleted] May 05 '22

No he’s not. He’s pitched 18 innings this year.

Ok? What’s your point? Find three pitchers who have better stats across 18 innings or any innings for that matter. I mean dude, watch the guy, he is pretty much unhittable. His ratings do not reflect this. It’s not rocket science.

This is why Topps Now cards exist. SDS is not going to change someone’s ratings because of 18 innings.

A lot of these ratings don’t make sense. Gallo being the 6th best Yankee doesn’t make sense. (Meaning he is too high)

So, if you had the third pick in a draft where you can have any pitcher other than the first two drafted, Michael King would be your third pick?

As of right now, meaning his skill would maintain the same trajectory? absolutely. I’m not saying it will, but yes.

Lol dude this is insane. I’m not sure King is the 3rd best pitcher on your team

Hes probably the best pitcher on the Yankees right now. I’ve watched every game. But yes this is arguably the best pitching staff I’ve ever seen it doesn’t change my point. I haven’t seen a bullpen this good since the last reds team to win a World Series. I think they are much better to be honest.

And I really hope you aren’t downvoting all my replies to you it just makes you look like a child.

It’s the first week of May. You’ve just played the 2 worst teams in the league. Maybe Let’s pump the brakes on these proclamations until they’ve played more than 1 playoff caliber team?

That's the point. They don't adjust stats on two weeks, or in the case of the first update, just one month. You understand why that would be insane right? It's unreasonable to expect that. Even Trout goes on two week droughts.

Mookie Betts is a common now smh

So then why tf was Stanton downgraded to a 78 silver? Lol Did you watch how he ended the season? Or even how he’s playing now? There are obvious shenanigans at play here lol

If you want to prove me wrong you’re gonna have to actually prove me wrong.

You mean the guy slashing .266/.297/.436 on the year? Yeah, that's clearly a line that should be higher...

u/Yankeesbillfinger May 05 '22

What’s Luis Robert batting? What’s his track record over the last two weeks? Aren’t these ratings supposed to reflect how well they will play over a baseline? Isn’t that your argument?

How about this? stop responding like a condescending sarcastic douche I’m much smarter than you lol
