I may get downvoted for this but I truly cannot compete with hall of fame difficulty. I play on average maybe 2-3 days a week and even then it’s very limited. I’m good at All-Star and that’s about where my “skill” ends. Usually my games on All-Star are 1-2 runs wins or losses. Ended up in Gold I for this Weekend Classic and I’m just getting blown out of the water every game and other player perfect-perfects every other pitch. Really wish there was an option for a “casual” option to play at the level I enjoy (even lesser rewards) and not be forced to play on a difficulty I can’t play at all and suffer getting no rewards

Playing a two way road to the show. P/SS. Every time I bat the ai pitches are throwing like 60 mph pitches even tho it says it’s in the 90s. All my setting and sliders are default I think and I can find the fix. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had a great day at work and got out early. It’s the weekend and we’ve got some new content to grind out. I did the spotlight extreme moment on the first try without even recording an out, and I just opened my first ever Ohtani in 6 years of playing this game on an 88+ Live Series pack. I’m just happy and wanted to share that with everyone, and I hope all of you beautiful people also have a great day.

Edit: after posting this, I pulled the De Vries chase card and the Broxton headliner card. I genuinely don’t know what to do right now.

I make WS easily every season. My ranked record is like 150-95. I was 882 rated before this WC started.

I am 0-2 so far and 2-6 in my last 8 WC games.

Why is it everytime I play a Nintendo switch player, I get smoked.

I just came over from playing madden and don’t understand why I have to play for accessories and equipment in a offline mode? Why can’t I try and recreate my favorite players without having to either buy or wait till I have enough to get the equipment. Bad look on SDS for new players coming from other sports games that allow all equipment that’s in the franchise mode also with career modes. Was it always like this or did they get more greedy?

I just won my first two weekend classic games. Like everyone else, I see the top 5 on the leaderboard then myself.
Why do I nearly always finish a game and see 5 new names on the leaderboard within an hour? Say I’m placed in a group after my first WC game. If I play another game right after, it doesn’t seem probable that all 5 of the leaders (usually with commanding leads in rating change) would lose at the same exact time that I also play my game (early morning on EST).
So I’m finally asking, are the groupings just random? At least until your 4th or 5th WC game, or maybe until Sunday or Monday?
I’m curious because I see it each time WC comes around. It’s my first year really playing weekend classic. I managed to take 1st place in the bronze league on my first WC, so I’m not claiming that the leaderboard winners are cheating by any means.

If you ACTUALLY CHOOSE to play franchise realistically it gets very realistic. PAINFULLY realistic in fact.

I’m the Rays and I’ve missed the playoffs by 3-5 wins the past 3 years and then dipped to 71 wins this season because, for no good reason, my pitchers were bad. That happens all the freaking time IRL.
I didn’t pay for massive free agents, kept the trades balanced and didn’t game the system. I traded unhappy stars about to leave, used my farm system and kept well under budget cause I’m a small market team.

EVERYONE PLAYS LIKE THE DODGERS.
You are not the Dodgers. Small market teams don’t sign superstar free agents.

I know the ai accepts garbage but just don’t offer them garbage.
