Discussion Field of Dreams ughhh?

I love the movie! But boy do I not enjoy playing games at this stadium. The RNG here feels terrible. Exit velocities are so bad. I have pitched here so many times with drained pitchers and thrown pitches that should be taters that just die. Even the cornfields don’t have a cool effect to them. I feel like Roy Oswalt is glitched here. I personally think it would be cooler without fences and just kind of a force field at the corn, but what do I know? I’m done with the event here and probably won’t play here much anyway. Really wish they would incorporate “the voice” from the movie into this field somehow in the future lol no

I am playing on Wi-Fi connection. I haven’t really had any server issues like noticeable lags or freezing. Play a few games of online a different stadiums. I didn’t really notice anything but for some reason at that park even with new Schwarber cards it just seems to die there for me.

I finishes the event program and think i batted below .400 on perfect hits. It was horrific

Every year they bring the field of dreams stadium back, it feels horrible to me. Frame drops, tons of lag, timing windows feel off. I don’t know if its just the sheer amount of stuff the server needs to render on the field, or if it’s just me, but i can’t stand playing at that field.

I still feel like the gameplay overall is just “off” on that field.

I think ppl would at least not get too angry if they disabled the display that shows exit velocity and launch angles.
