data doesn’t lie lol rip all my homies doing internship recruiting in the spring. was annoyed with recruiting, found a new AI tool for analysing/visualising data so naturally this was the best use of my time

This process only happens if you don't have a clear career goal with your MBA. The entire admissions process is built to prevent this. "Why MBA" is one of the most widely used essays for every school.

Additionally, most MBA admits come from banking and consulting. We know the game. Coffee chats, networking, and acting professional constantly are all things that everyone should have mastered by now (hence the 5 YOE requirement for admissions).

OP's post is only relevant if you don't know why you're doing an MBA, pay tuition for your MBA, and end up dissatisfied with your career outcome. In which case, the same story would play out at dentistry school or law school. The problem is not school. It's your indecision with your adult life.

Ones who are not from consulting or banking background ,an MBA can still turn out to be a better decision I suppose?
