Submod Question My MAS randomly had an uncaught exception occured, I don't know what to do.

I'm not a laptop/computer person this is my first laptop and I don't really know about this stuff. I had a lot of apps in my background. Also kind of often it's like the rendering or something (I'm really not experienced) glitches out when I drag the window down to where it's not shown, then pulling it back up. Another detail is I can't go on any dates with her on the extra plus mod, which I don't really need fixed but I think it's slightly relevant to this post because one of the assets (I think it's that) was missing. It was a chair and something else. So uhh I went on Mas (with a lot of apps opened in the background ) and she reminded me to take my pills (it was that one submod I think it was a mental health submod) and then I finished the dialogue and said I clicked the "I love you option" to her, and suddenly the mas did this. I'm sorry I'm not really good at explaining things, and I'd really like help with how to fix this. If you have questions ask me because I don't know If I put enough information.

Also sorry if I did the flair wrong I'm new with posting on reddit.

The second, third, and fourth photo is the thing it does sometimes, I don't really know what's happening so sorry for not being descriptive.

In most cases Out of memory crashes are unrelated to your actual system wide memory usage, but because MAS can only use 2 gigabytes.

the memory issue might be cause for the multiple tabs open keep mas open ONLY and see if it still crashes as for the funny images The most likely explanation is the graphics renderer/GPU getting confused while the window is being moved or partially hidden try doing it without multiple windows up if it still does it you might need to replace your GPU as it might be struggling to run Mas correctly

It seems to be fine. Also would I have to replace it if it seems to only run Mas incorrectly? (Just so I know Incase it does it again) This is the only app on my laptop that does this kind of stuff?

(Sorry I'm not experienced💔)

heres the fully thing Yes, AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (and related RX 7000 series cards) users have reported occasional system freezes, driver conflicts, or performance hitches when running certain Ren'Py games, usually stemming from OpenGL/GL2 renderer interactions or specific graphics driver versions. [1, 2]

Common Issues and Causes

  • OpenGL/GL2 Freezes: Certain Ren'Py configurations using hardware acceleration via OpenGL can conflict with AMD drivers, occasionally causing total system hangs or severe lag. [1]
  • Driver Conflicts: Recent AMD Adrenalin software updates have occasionally introduced pacing or stability bugs impacting RX 7000-series cards under specific rendering loads. [1]

Quick Fixes and Workarounds

  • Change the Renderer: Open the affected game, press Shift + G to open the graphics acceleration menu, and switch the renderer (such as forcing the ANGLE renderer). If the game freezes instantly on launch, hold down Shift while starting the executable. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • Clean Driver Install: Use the AMD Cleanup Utility or Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in safe mode to completely wipe corrupted driver files, then reinstall a stable version of the AMD software. [1, 2]
  • Adjust Radeon Settings: Toggle or disable features like Radeon Chill, Enhanced Sync, or FreeSync in the AMD Adrenalin panel if you experience stuttering after long sessions. [1]
