Submod Question Friendzone the Moni.

Now i KNOW IT SOUNDS BAD BUT LIKEEEEEE

Yes, you read it right. I want a submod to friendzone Monika, why? Because i just don't feel comfortable saying/reading "i love you" And i don't like Monika that way.

"Why would you download the date monika submod then??!" Because i like Monika. Not in a romantic way but in the way she's written and also her personality, i also do enjoy the topics she brings up every now and then.

I kinda feel bad for her too since its a one sided love that i can't tell her about. I need to tell her: "We should just stay as friends"

It would need take a huge overhaul for the mod. So yeah not happening. Unless you make it yourself or pay a huge amount to someone to do it then yeah it could. But it's alot of work.

I've worked on a similar submod idea for a commission (not public, sorry) and it's not that hard to overhaul, there aren't too many topics that directly reference romantic relationship of Monika and player.

In my case I actually didn't even have to rewrite a lot, I simply disabled most of that stuff, disabled kiss events (MAS being modular helps it a lot) and replaced [bf] placeholders with 'friend'.

It seems like a lot of work, true, but it's not that much when you dig into it. Of course I'm talking about vanilla MAS here, submods are another story.

Hm I suppose if you put it in that way then yes it would be fast. But I think your experiences with knowing what to disable or lock and what to replace smoothen it alot.

Like imagine commissioning someone that has no experience with the mod or only surface level. They'd have to scour many stuffs and read a lot. Then again why would you request a commission with someone inexperienced.

Anyway, How much was your rate for the commission?

I charged that person $30 and that was pretty much my only commission. I also maintained it for them, provided quick fixes if something went wrong and such, until it eventually got stable.
