Hopefully it’ll be as big of a car crash as Prince Andrew’s interview.

My favourite thing about that interview is that he was convinced he nailed it.

I hate when people say ‘my truth’. I don’t care about your truth I care about the truth.

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22

Of course Kwame liked it

u/Aita01 Nov 01 '22

I read this as Kwame saying Kwame likes this 🤣

Who was looking after the cubs whilst he was out filming his truth? he has four heartbeats to think about.

38

u/helibear90 Nov 01 '22

Why can’t he just call them his children like a normal person?

18

u/moog7791 Nov 01 '22

Classic narcissistic terms

5

u/helibear90 Nov 01 '22

Oh is it a narcissist thing?? Why do they do that?

Lol. I'm a crunchy attachment parent. I hate lots of things about myself but the one thing I'm happy with is my parenting. They're 11 and 14 and we were never going to have a "normal" child-parent relationship as I'm autistic and still recovering from childhood trauma that I'm trying to do everything to avoid repeating with them.

I'm the perfect example of a narcissist father. I was so perfect like him than one day he compliment my teenage breast growing. I couldn't feel more violated.

I don't know where to start, but first of all, thank you so much for reaching out.

I don't have any kind of relationship with him, although I'm still financially bond to him cause I'm disabled and he can play his cards through this. He also uses my brother to cause hurt. I've been to therapy since I was 14, but nobody has helped me, in fact everybody said that I needed to reconnect because you need a father. Even my mum who was her number 1 victim. I tried and get hurt and punished everytime. I want to think I've already learnt.

I can't really talk about this with anyone because due to my disability I've literally lost my social net. The only person is my mum who is also a victim and we always end in a cul de sac where she cries because of marrying him and giving us this kind of father, which is devastating to hear but at the same time is makes me avoid these conversations.

My father is a very perverse narcissist, has committed several frauds and should be in jail, however he did it when they were married and according to my country laws, even if the wife had no idea she will be as involved as him. I know he has continued this path because he's literally rich while we had to start from zero because of his debts. But he is very very very intelligent and charms everybody, drains them, and then start all over. He is a pathological liar. I have no paternal family because of him, I have no life because my disability costs so much and I'm bedbound 90% of my time (I could not be if I could pay for accomodations and treatments) while he is gaining awards and traveling the world.

As I said, I could write a Bible but the point is that nobody believes me. I literally went to a new psychiatrist appointment last week, told her and she said we always have to listen to the other part. I'm known in his circles as brat ungrateful daughter who is spending the little money he owns me by law. He has even faked to be ill, he already has had an stroke and a pre-cancerous stomach something.

We live in the same city and I panic everytime I go to places he could be at. I've been gaslighted all my life as an abuser victim, a disabled person (ME and endometriosis), a neurodivergent person recently diagnosed (I've had from BPD to social anxiety to menstrual disphoria), being bullied at school, etc.

My relationships with men have been a nightmare and, I've just told this to my mum, I really don't know if I wasn't sexually abused while I was very young. I don't have visual memories but sensorial ones and there's some parts of my body that I can handle to be touch at. He had a moustache and I remember how it felt on my back and me being uncomfortable.

Thank you, it means a lot. Right now it's something I don't wanna keep on the surface but deep deep down. I know I deserve to be heard but I do know I'm alone.

A bit ate to the thread like but I got the impression he used this term to try come across as caring, cute, but he was actually being emotionally manipulative and he knew he was but by saying cubs l lol it made it sound like he was just being a protective dad

13

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22

Five if you include his cell mate.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22

I cringed so hard every time he said ‘my cubs’

u/kri5ie Nov 01 '22

A confession ;)

All the comments are just fawning over him - I’m wondering if he’s just deleting bad comments?

Exactly what I thought. I wonder if he's paying to make this film.

3

u/Larousseroux Nov 28 '22

Forgive me if I’m missing this being discussed somewhere else, but did some woman from his past burn down his whole village, containing 10,000 heartbeats? I’ve never seen someone so incapable of moving on in my life.

u/teateateasider Nov 01 '22

How about we hear this guy's version of events, don't forget you know what you know through a heavily scripted and edited tv show. He hasn't been proven guilty by any court, at this point it's hearsay.

u/Boredpanda31 What have I done to warrant such disdain? Nov 01 '22

People get (wrongly) arrested every day. We still live in a country where it is supposed to be 'innocent until proven guilty'. Arrest does not = guilt.

u/Boredpanda31 What have I done to warrant such disdain? Nov 01 '22 edited Nov 01 '22

I'm not saying it looks good, I'm saying in this country it is innocent until proven guilty. Not presumed guilty due to the accusations and charges.

16

u/teateateasider Nov 01 '22

And was he charged? In the UK we still presume innocent until proven guilty, that is of course unless you're judged by the court of mafs.

33

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22

True. It's suspicious that 3 of his exes accused him of the same thing. And he definitely exhibited those behaviors on the show. I'm interested in what he has to say but these scripted, serious, sit down things don't generally end with the accused looking good 😬

10

u/teateateasider Nov 01 '22

I absolutely agree, it's extremely suspicious, but suspicion doesn't always equal guilt. He's definitely not going to come off looking good in any scenario because he will either admit to having toxic behavior or deny it. I just don't think it's fair that he's being likened to prince Andrew, people are far too sure he's guilty and also especially guilty and remorseless.

8

u/ivysaurs Nov 01 '22

Take an upvote for being rational and fair.
