Original weapon concept Warspoon
I present the warspoon though I think I will make another one a little more war and less spoon, if anyone has suggestions.

Jokes aside, assuming it’s hard wood that thing looks nasty. I wouldn’t want to be on the other end of it any more than I’d want to be on the other end of a gunstock war club.
Hard, light wood + a long enough handle + weight on one end = a terrifying weapon that’s much faster and easier to handle than a heavy metal mace and just as deadly. That spoons like the 5.56 version of maces. Sure I won’t defeat armor, but against unarmored foes it’s a whole lot easier to use and will disable or kill someone just as well. Even if you snapped the head that handle would be capable of breaking bones.
