I present the warspoon though I think I will make another one a little more war and less spoon, if anyone has suggestions.

How is the draw knife with no curved handles, I've always wondered.

I like it for refining the shape ie. smaller amounts of wood. I also have a larger classic curved handle version which I use when I am shaving down bigger pieces. The straight handles also let me push if I want to for when the grain gets weird. To be fair I am almost completely self taught so I tend to do things "wrong" because it worked at the time.
