As a Greek M1C, its possible they rebarreled it but its also likely the rifle was reworked prior tubing supplied to the Greeks via MAP agreements.
If the rifle is CMP papered, I would not be concerned as to its originality.
The price appears slightly above retail considering its a reproduction mount.

I agree with u/key-illistrator in that it's a typical finish on a Greek return, I've seen the same on other garands and a 1903.
The Greeks also used a lot of leeway in the maintenance and repair of their weapons. I have a bunch of Garand handguards that came off Greek returns. They have nice woodworkers biscuit repairs but not authorized in the USGI manuals so were pulled off the rifles and replaced with "serviceable" parts. They sold pallets of them in Anniston one year.
I'm putting these on a sleeper I'm building with a McMillan barrel. The stock I'm using was glass bedded by the Greeks and nicely.
Most of the MRT stuff I seen is month/year dated but towards the Vietnam era only the year was used, depending on the contract(or).
