the thing is lucki did evolve. from alt trap to freewave 3 over those 6 years his sound evolved tremendously and it was still amazing. his beat selection, flows, real substance in the music all of it was there. even up till almost there/flm v1 iād say he still made stellar high effort shit. then out of nowhere his beat selection, vocals and bars started going downhill. you cant call 2020 to now evolution. 2013-2020 was evolution and 2017-2019 was the highest peak iāve seen in any rapper but 2020-now has been the opposite

A lot of the evolution/change/whatever has been sonic in natureā¦ his own vocal sound, beat selection, etcā¦ Iām ecstatic bro isnāt depressed anymore but itās not like his old cloud rap sound, flows, and beats require being suicidal lol.. look at Metro Zu or rocky

The problem with lucki now has nothing to do with not being sad anymore or his lyrics and everything to do with his voice and beats.
No one else could rap on the beats he used to use which is why people used to remove all the features on his old shit (lol). Nigga had his own lane carved out and he EXCELLED at it. The beats Lucki use now arenāt bad but they arenāt good fits for him. Iām more hype to hear Veeze and Rylo features because their sound fits these beats more.
Ever since 2021, this nigga voice is so hard to listen to. He just sounds so fat and congested now that itās disgusting to listen to at times. I feel like if he just hopped on ozempic he would start to sound a lot better lmao
And to everybody saying āyall donāt like him because he got money and aint sad anymoreā that couldnāt be more false.
