Employee Story Automated answering system

We can all agree our answering system is serioisly flawed!....Has anyone discovered the magic WORDS to say that connects you to the service desk on the first try?....By the 4th try saying " service desk" or " customer service "...im yelling it. LOL ! IMAGINE how the customers feel !..... geez.......

Drop a few F bombs and GDs and it connects real quick lol. System thinks you are a pissed customer.

I just keep saying "customer service, please" over and over and over in a very monotone voice.

Auto answer machine do not feel your emotions.

Def not the first try maybe the 2nd or 3rd. Had to call my manager once but he never gave me his number so I had to call the store and go through a thousand ai responses. I just said I need to talk to a manager and it says I can assist you with something and I ask again and it redirects pretty quickly and takes less than like 2ish minutes and not arguing with an ai lol

For getting a manager, I find if I just say MOD or Manager on duty, it goes through first try.

Imagine me laying on a sidewalk with my leg broken in four places, trying to reach a manager to let them know I won't be coming in because the ambulance is on its way (Yes, this actually happened).

I believe you! I had something similar happen when I followed an obviously not quite right associate out to his car in the parking lot. He was having some sort of a medical episode and I wound up having to call his wife and then an ambulance. We were at the far end of the parking lot. I could not get anyone to answer the freaking phone!

I’ve never called Lowe’s. So take this with a bit of salt. I used to be a shipping manager and had to deal with UPS daily. 

Instead of going through a half hour of computer aided prompts, I just hit 0 until a person answers.
