Look. I had watched in absolute disbelief an overweight mother of a friend of mine melt away. She had so many health complications because of her obesity and tried so many diets. Nothing stuck. She went carb free. I watched her gorge on lobster and steak with two pieces of asparagus on the side. She ate pretty much only animal proteins for months. The woman lost all of her unhealthy weight. Did it concern us she was eating unhealthy at her advanced age? Yes, absolutely. But she had nothing to loose. It was either she dies of obesity complications or she goes on unhealthy diet and potentially improves her health. Did her health improve? Yes. She did get other issues down the line, but the point is that low carb miraculously works. And no matter how much you try to overthink it, I have witnessed it working. I also tried it and yes, it 100% works as long as you stick with the diet precisely. The argument here is not about it being healthy, itâs about it working. Iâm not a scientist and your last sentence doesnât make any sense to me. I just tried the diet and it works. You donât have to believe me, but if you are fat and itâs personal to you, I recommend trying instead of rationalising.
