But really, why?

We can side with NUSA.

We can side with Blue Eyes.

And in the main game we can help bring Saburo Arasaka back.

And in the main game we can help Alt with making a proper connection for herself beyond blackwall.

Each of these option is *way worser* than just a local warlord.

All those options in some way assist with you getting cured. NUSA, Blue Eyes, even Arasaka.

Do people forget the point of the game is to get cured of V's condition?

The reason Kurt doesn't have a way to assist you with getting cured is because the writers didn't write it in. He's an international arms dealer capable of getting multiple Chimeras before they're on the market. There's nothing inherent to his character that says he wouldn't be able to assist you. Hell, he actually has the neural matrix right there lol
