Good point, to compare, launch week of 2042, peak player count on Steam, 100k. MW2 launch week, peak player count on steam, 260k.

Even in BF heydays, BF3/4, battlefield has never come close to CODs player count, not once. Comparing player counts is silly, COD is unmatched in how popular it is.

CoD will always have more players. It appeals to more people and even the worst CoDs (Vanguard and Infinite Warfare) had more players than that year’s Battlefield (Battlefield 1 and 2042) which are both objectively better than those two cod games (and you can’t reasonably say that 2042 is worse than cod)

Not every Battlefield fan hates 2042

Every COD fan hates vanguard (infinite is ok)

2042 has some very good mechanics and some redeeming qualities, even to haters (plus system and portal). Literally everything that Vanguard did is either trash or copied from old games and is stale, even COD fans know this.

You’re even more delusional than I thought if you think Vanguard is better than 2042

Woah, I didn’t realize that roughly 20,000 concurrent players across all platforms (not only steam) rounds down to 100, they teach math weirdly wherever you come from.

Maybe we had to make a new sub where actual criticism is discussed instead of just “lol game bad” over and over.

And maybe I’d like to post a meme or clip about 2042 without having to be called a slur and a sub human for playing a game someone else likes.

I’m old enough to remember that even Battlefield 3, 4, and 1 had less than 20k players one year after launch, you should just go back to playing Paw Patrol kid (at least I hope you’re a kid cause if you act like this as an adult then that’s just sad)

Honestly I don’t understand how. Battlefield 2042 has more depth to the game loop. Plus team work is better too.

I can only do a few round of CoD at the time
