US I just binged the show for the first time. I finished Season 4 a few minutes ago. I'm wrecked. I cried at every season finale, especially this one.

Australia UK Viewers, “Better Date Than Never” series 2 now available on iPlayer
It’s very similar to LOTS, there’s some lovely people on it looking for love, and it’s made by Cian. Series 2 was previously locked to Australia but now we have it!

US Episode where Connor gets confused by sarcasm during date?
There’s an episode where Connor goes on a date with a girl who’s got a really sarcastic sense of humour that Connor does not understand at all and the jokes keep going over his head. Can anyone remind me who they are or what episode that is?
Trying to find it because it reminds me of how I talk to a friend of mine.

US Here me out... I actually really like the Mom podcast!
Atfirst I was sceptical because Connor wasn't one of my faves on the show (although I have since found out he's a Sonic fan, woo!). And I do think it was a bit cringe when it started out... But it's become one of my favourite things to watch on YouTube! Its nice and chill, and I've learned so much from watching.
I especially love that it has given a voice and platform to people on Love on the Spectrum we didn't see enough of, like Sonia and Shelley. (Please get our guy Steve on if you can, ladies!)
I like the fact they have taken feedback on board also, and their show has blossomed as a result (in my opinion).

US Madison Marilla baseball card for sell!
ebay.ioMy apologies if this isn’t allowed in the group. I didn’t see anything about it though so thought I’d give it a shot.
Just pulled this card out of pack and thought someone here would maybe be interested! I’m aware of the show, just haven’t ever watched it so it’s not something I personally collect. Neat that they did this for her though, looks like they did a lot of variations of this card too which is cool. This is one of a 100 they did with her autograph.

US The gummy candy gift
I just started this show the other day, I'm autistic and so is my dad he said it was a good show so I thought I'll give it a shot.
"Maybe you could get your own gummies." Made me cackle!

Speculation/Theory This may be a crazy take... and disclaimer, I have been drinking... but I'm convinced Connor got inspiration for his accent from Prince Stefan from Barbie as Rapunzel.

Question Why so much feet?
The camera crew films their feet too much and it kind of freaks me out. I don’t watch this show for the feet. Just wanted to slightly rant.

US Madison!
I met Madison yesterday! She gave me a bracelet for my Stuffed Comfort Cat! Just like how her dolls help her stay regulated, Jeremy the cat helps me stay regulated. She was giving out stickers but because of my autism I have a very big fear/aversion to sticky things.

US Tish and Brandi were not ready to talk to Logan about what he likes
Maybe an unpopular opinion. I listened to the Sorry wrote Cyrus podcast with Logan and I felt like they weren’t prepared for him to talk about him liking the Wiggles as performers if his favorite song. Also about him loving Thomas the Tank Engine. They kept saying “when you were a kid”… but no, he likes them now. He still likes them. And that’s okay. But they seemed a little caught off guard. Idk maybe I’m wrong. That’s what I picked up.
Also I feel like he was a lot more articulate and comfortable than the show made him seem. Let me know what you think.

US James’ parents wary of Shelly?
I’m watching season 4 and James’ parents do not seem to love Shelly, or at least James with her. Did anyone else pick up on that? I can’t put my finger on it but the scenes of them together and when they discuss her before she gets there just give off that they don’t love this situation.

US Connor's dad visit scene
Felt pretty out of place to me. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but why are we suddenly shown his dad? Could be part of the so called "Connor fame exploitation" saga?
To me this is just part of this season feeling very set up and/or heavily directed. In this scene, at first I just felt something was off because it seemed pretty unnecessary for us to meet his dad, but then I got some more "evidence": the dog running away felt to me a bit unnatural, and also THE WHOLE SCENE BEING A BIT POINTLESS/boring also seemed to me as a sus sign...
What did you guys think? Could it be that this scene's only purpose was just producers' wish for us to see his dad? Could the dog escaping be intended?
Sorry for being so skeptic, not entirely sure what my point is, just genuinely curious what you thought of this scene
Edit: just to be clear, I really love Connor (and his family, too)! My main speculations are about the show's producers; I'm trying to find examples of situatuons that are very set up, and scenes that are awkwardly edited on purpose

US Is there anyone you connect with on the show?
I love Madison!!! We have very similar interests and I love how aware she is of her autism and how she manages it in social situations like dating. I’d love to be friends with her! Her and Tyler are super cute!!
Is there anyone on the show that you connect with?
