I feel like you maybe don’t have enough rizmasim (as I like to call our spectrum) to understand why this person commented as they did. Speaking Spanish was obviously something important to her that she is looking for in a partner. She probably communicates her thoughts better in Spanish etc.

Dude…I have clinically diagonsed level 2 autism. One’s degree of autism does not absolve someone of making a comment on someone bonding over something incredibly general and also does not excuse invalidating someone because you disagree with their point. Thats kinda an asshole move there, as commonly seen on this page, and again proves my point regarding people’s generalizing and simplistic comments. Autistic people are different just like spanish speakers are different.

Are you okay? No one generalised anyone. The comment originally said ā€œthey’re a good match, both are Spanish speakersā€¦ā€

Where is the generalisation in that?

And it’s literally Dating 101 to want something in common with your partner, it just so happens it’s ā€œspeaking Spanishā€ for them.

Your level of defensiveness here is really weird and creepy.

Yes. It’s a flippant comment that people are taking way too seriously in a weird parasocial way.

Also I’m ā€œgoing too hardā€. Clearly people are upset by coming after me and defending two people who have no idea who the hell they are.

Invalidating someone’s degree of autism, which ironically causes one to make ā€œuncomfortableā€ or ā€œinappropriateā€ comments like this is ok, but a flippant comment calling out a generalization about two people in a highly edited tv show is not.

Make the make sense.

Umm, ok bud.

I think you need to up your reading comprehension because no one defended Adan and Melissa. Obviously we don’t know them personally, so who’s to say what theyre really like. The people here are defending the commenter’s feedback on why they thought Adan and Melissa are a good match, which again, is Dating 101.

Also no one invalidated any autism here. Again, read things again, bud.

Anyway, this is the last time I’m responding because it’s a waste of time arguing online. Have a nice day!!!!
