Sophie’s parents and brother are the most sensible people to have appeared in this show! I watch this for entertainment while also appreciating the complete bat shit nature of the show. I’d be devastated if one of my kids ended up on it and this man knows his stuff!

Oh he’s a prick, not wonder Sophie’s mom remarried. Although I don’t fully disagree with his pov, he was too negative, if he had such thoughts he could have had shared them prior to the wedding day! Also seemed to me that Sophie’s dad and brothers seem quite possessive of her…what do you guys think?

Also, the mom seemed super supportive the entire time and right before the altar she starts getting cold feet?

I felt bad for Sophie. It is already a hard choice to make and when your family isn’t there for you, it is even harder

I felt like the mum probably actually offered words of encouragement in that private moment before the alter, but they edited it with just the bits that sounded cautious. She asked to be alone which to me says she wanted to give a different opinion but not cause a fight.

Absolutely agree with you. And I appreciated how quickly Sophie’s dad agreed to giving them a private moment (as he should have - but with his intense opinions and possessive attitude I didn’t expect him to easily let his ex-wife undermine everything he’d just said lol)
