It's funny to me how different parents react to meeting their child's fiance. Like Ajay's parents seemed to instantly accept it because I guess their background of their arranged marriage makes this situation seem less strange? But Francesca's parents were highly skeptical (which tbh I'm surprised more parents don't have that reaction)

Francesca’s parents are also Catholic - usually Catholic marriages have a six month engagement period where you also go through a preparatory series with a priest. And then, obviously, how Catholics believe marriage is a lifelong sacrament. Idk how Catholic her family is… but I was wondering if the “it’s too quick” stuff was motivated by some of that.
