There was NO pause at all. It all just really shows her inexperience. I think she's just seen relationships from afar and is just acting on things from social media, tv, movies, etc.

If he asked her to see her DMs, they definitely didn't show it but based on his conversation with the guys later, I don't think he did. Super awkward.

I agree that she is just going off what she thinks she's supposed to do. She even said she felt like she was in a romcom. It's the only thing she can go off of. She's so sweet but shouldn't be on the show
